Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Those sears "extra __% off" sales are ALWAYS YMMV... Ive gotten 75% off at a few of them, once got 90% off... Ive only spotted those sales at my local store though

It should be noted that they also manually adjust these prices, I was at one a while back, but they had to manually imput the 75% off.
 
I just got back from Sears at Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA. There was absolutely nothing.
All the games that I was mildly interested was $19.99 which included Dead or Alive 4, Arcade hits vol 1, Viva pinata. There were 2 512 mem cards on the clearance table but it just rang up at 49.99. Damn so depressing.

I scanned one at Sears and it was $59.99. I called another Sears and they put in the UPC for me, that was also $59.99.
 
Finally, something decent. Got a 20 GB hard drive for 22.00. It's for a friend who's gonna buy an Arcade this September. All of the Singstar bundles rang up full price though. Frowney face.
Also pricematched K-Marts price for Shadow Run. Although, I guess that's not related to this thread.
 
Went to a Sears out of state and finally was able to pick up Singstar Amped for $13.97. They had the 90's Rock version I had them scan it along with Xbox Live Vision pack. But both rang up regular price $49.99 and $39.99. Also checked but they had no Scene It or Singstar for the Ps3 that I could price check.
 
I went to the two different Sears stores in Maryland and was able to get 10 Xbox 360 games (8 for myself and 2 for my nephew):

I can never find the live vision bundles...when they were on clearance at Kmart I got the shaft, and now 2 different sears, no dice. I should just give up and buy a year of live and be done with it...
 
I saw Lair (PS3) for $24.97 today, but passed on it since I already got it for $14.98 from the Target clearance. I did pick up the Singstar Amped bundle (PS2) for $13.97 however.
 
I'd be all over the Singstar bundle and wtf (apparently $3) if I could find them. Guess it won't hurt to check my local sears tomorrow.

Managed to snag a scene it for 25... apparently the same store had singstar amped but I didn't spot it, just checked the in store pick up right now. Oh well, maybe I'll go back again tomorrow.
 
the ncaa college hoops 2k8 at my sears rang up $19.99 instead of less than $4, did anyone manage to get it at the $4 price?
if so, i'll buy/trade for it...

Planet Puzzle League - DS

goes for at Sears? One of my local stores has a couple of these stuck in the back of the locked case and I didn't have time to track somebody down to do a price check. It doesn't show up on their site. I've been trying to get this game on the cheap for a while now.
 
If anyone is interested there are 2 copies of Scene It (360) at the Sears Grand on Appleton Ave in Menomonee Falls,WI.

They also had Battlefield 2 for the regular Xbox marked down to $6.97 and Breakdown also for Xbox down to $1.97.
 
I just picked up Singstar Amped (the orange-colored bundle) and Singstar 80's (the pink-colored bundle with the girl on the front - this is the other one that is on clearance, not 90's). Amped for $13.97 and 80's $19.97. Used the coupon to get both for just over $30 plus tax. Not a bad way to get a few mics and build a song collection for when the PS3 gets the disc swap (and I get a PS3, of course).

Wow, just when I thought I got a good deal when I bought it for $5.00 today.

Does anybody know how much Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen go for? I saw it in the glass case still where I went. I figured that the games are still 19.99+. I mean they still had Mario Kart GBA for 34.99.

It's definitely worth the $25 I paid for it. I played it recently with four players, 2 of which we under 14 (not good for them, too young, not enough newer stuff, but did have a Shrek round). The commentary is meh, not really needed. The controllers work perfect but use a wireless usb adapter so the controllers work different than the regular xbox controllers. Took awhile to figure out the big buttons actually have a directional arrows near each side, click up, click down, etc. Recommend not playing party play verision because it shows your answers, stick with the first option (can't remember what it's called?). Very happy with the purchase, love challenging the wife to something on the xbox.
 
Does anyone know if the gamecube version of Zelda: Twilight Princess is clearanced? I saw a couple copies at sears the other day and know it has been clearanced at other stores.
 
Yeah especially because it's out of the system at Target, I saw one that was tagged $24.98 and was out of the system so I knew they wouldn't give me the 75% off price of $12.48. Thankfully I found it at TRU a few weeks later. I went to 5 different TRU stores, one had copies and only had 2 left. Worth it for $7.98 though since I didn't go out of my way to those stores.
 
I have had success at target getting out of the system items for 75% off by bringing them up to customer service and explaining that its an out of the system item and its supposed to be 75% off (when they scan it it will come up as an oos item), make sure you talk like you know more than the retail employee behind the counter, also be nice.

The Gamestop trade-in value for Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX 4 is $6.00 (they don't accept the Dance Pad). I didn't plan on keeping both of the bundles (only one of them) but it doesn't look like this game and Dance Pad is compatible with the Xbox 360. Am I correct about that?

Should I try to sell the Dance Dance bundles? If so, what is a reasonable asking price?

Yea, thanks! I was excited when I saw them. The DDR bundles were kept in a seperate glass case underneath the digital cameras (not in the game section) so it took them a while to find the correct key (literally the last key they tried) to open the case...lol...they had the DDR bundle for the Xbox 360 but it was $49.99 so I just left it there.

I was really hoping that the Xbox bundles would be compatible with the Xbox 360 but no dice. :cry:

Yep, they are all worth the minimum trade-in value ($1.00). I actually purchased these same games last week and traded them in already. I'll be trading in the one's that I got tonight at some point over the weekend. Here are the trade-in values (not including Edge):

Chrome Hounds: $2.50
Pimp My Ride: $3.00
Tetris Revolution: $6.00
 
I wonder why SEARS still has those bundles. That's where I got mine as well, but that was nearly a year ago. I saw one at KMART but it was tagged $40 something... is it supposed to be clearanced there as well?
