Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

It is possible that the bundle is on clearance at kmart as well. It might be a good idea to price check any item that you are interested in. The copy of Chromehoundz that I picked up was marked with a huge $59.99 sticker, yet it only cost me $2.97 ($2.47 after 10% off coupon).
 
Was at A sears this morning and saw a few drops on items:

Dynasty Warriors Gundam (360) $39.97
Breakdown (Xbox) $2.97 (did see it a few weeks ago for $1.97 this store went up a buck)
Battlefield 2 MC (Xbox) $5.97
A Dance Dance Bundle with pad for 360 for $36.97 (not exact on it)
A DS case (Blue) with a mario face on it for $3.97

NFL Head Coach (Xbox) $1.97
And 1 street ball (xbox) $1.97
 
Just left Sears and saw a few games with lower prices than what I saw listed here.

Spider-man FoF (360) : $10.97
Lair (PS3) : $20.97
Warhawk w/ headset (PS3) : $39.97
and the 360 DDR game was $39.97 also..
 
Not sure if anyone's seen this yet, but I saw Zelda: Twilight Princess for Gamecube for something like 36.97. Still too high obviously, but at least it's in the clearance cycle now.
 
Has anyone seen Final Fantasy X-2 anywhere or know what the price would be now in Sears for it? How bout God of War? Thanks in advance..

i believe it was clearanced awhile back but i cant be certain. i havent seen those in any sears for a long while.
 
Got some PS3 Memory card Adapters for $4.97. Also, the 64MB 360 Memory cards went back up to $4.97, but I think I bought the last of them anyway.
 
Ok, I bought Tomb Raider Legend for the DS and it was $8.97 but here is the weird thing. The UPC is a sticker and it matches Snood 2 for the DS and maybe even Zoo Keeper. The receipt said DS, 1499 HO CLR and $14.99 was the original price.

just a heads up. a new batch of clearance came out. full auto 2 for ps3 is something like $18.97

atv offroad 2 for psp is $14.97. mecurey meltdown for wii is $19.97 i believe. dont quote me but they are def clearance. im a direct source being that i work in the eletronics section
 
I stopped by my local Sears today to do some real shopping, and was surprised to find Tetris Evolution. I'm fairly certain it was ringing up as OOS, but the manager told the cashier to ring it up as $0.97. And I was ready to pay 5 times that amount! I'm just surprised because this Sears stocks probably fewer than 50 games total for all systems at any given time. There were also two Scene It bundles, but I wasn't really interested so I didn't check the price.

I picked up a PS3 Memory Card Adapter for $3.74 today (still stickered at $4.97 though)
 
nothing at sears today. dot hack redemption is $39.99, singstar amped bundle is $39.99 as well. the only thing that was noteworthy was zelda for the gamecube but still at $39.97.
 
Sorry for being a noob but when you guys find these clearance items are the clearance prices on the price tag or do all these items appear normal-priced until you scan em?

I popped into the Sears at the mall a few weeks ago and all the gaming stuff is in locked glass cases and there was no mention of sale on any gaming items so I'm not sure if any of the items are less than normal. I'd love to have some of these deals. :D

alot of them have old price tag if you find the right item it will ring up as clearance price mentioned here.

thats not a noob question. it really depends on the store. corperate for the most part sent out a email saying to get rid of vom's(very old mechindise)

they are trying to get the old stuff out for the new stuff in. ive seen a major overall in clearance since feb this year. btw i work there so i know because im a direct source.

previous to the eletronics department hiring a guy for a signing in eletronics it was never done often, but nowadays alot of it is tagged and put in a clearance bin. now im off to only looking and not posting

the barcodes can be printed online. you need the UPC code that can be found on half.com (just type in the name of the game). there are free barcode generator sites out there and once you print them, take it to the price checked and scan away. this or you can do the old method, ask and have them price check.
 
i have a question for all of the sears clearance thread faithfuls.. would you like it if we add a barcode link to every game? so that way we can just click the link and copy the barcode jpeg. i have an easy way to do it, but i'll need everyone's help be providing the link and ill just copy and paste them.
 
That would be cool and save time since it can be time consuming to have to go to Half.com, then go to UPCDatabase and copy and paste each one into a word processor especially when you are checking 10 or more games.

I think you do too much as it is and I wouldn't want to impose on you any further. I've also never seen a price checker at Sears. I'll look for one though.

i have this idea, search the game on half, copy the upc, and add to the end of this link:

where the X's would be the UPC. then i'll just copy and paste, add to the OP. but each person would have to add the link to their post.

The one in my Sears is near the women's clothing section, same floor as electronics.
 
Checked my local store and they had 50% all items in basket. But thonly game item was 360 cable for $7.50. But I did snag a lingerie chest for my wife. $199.99, mark down to $39.
 
Just found Scene It....lol only due to the fact it was still marked full price, a 12 month 360 camera kit...but alas live activate card and points card stolen (checked it with clerk before buying) but did find the reduced 3 month card....

and on a side note...on SD a member reported quite a few Pool cues, pool table covers, and various dart/dartboard items 90% off about a week ago...was very surprised to find (today) 5 cues (orig. $14.99-$39.99) & a table cover ($99) for $27.xx total!
Key for me was the store was slow, clearance was not marked, so I and a clerk literally scanned 25+ cues to find 5 that rang 90% off ... so if you're there anyhoo checking on games...and play pool/darts...definitely check this out

OMG!!! My sears store was a gold mine (sort of). Picked up 4 64mb memory cards for the 360 for $4.97 and a VGA cable for the 360 for $5.97. The cashier gave me a weird look for the 4 memory cards I think, but whatever. They still had a shit ton of the cards also, like 10+
 
Gah, my local Sears prices weren't dropped. Some clearance UPCs I had showed up but they weren't there. I found 3 (3!) copies of DoA4 and Fuzion Frenzy 2 for the 360 there but they rang up at full price. Do they need to go farther in the transaction in order for it to show up? Other than that, I traded in 3 DS games at GS with the 25% add-on coupon + Edge and got $45 in credit which was used to pay off my Resistance 2 CE!
 
I made a little UPC book for Xbox items and plenty showed up at these crazy clearance prices but they had absolutely nothing in stock. Doesn't look like they stock anything too often. Their whole video games section was completely picked through. None deals for me. :(

Hmmm, thanks for the heads up, now I just need to go and find the correct section, does my Sears even have a sporting goods section >_

I finally found Scene It for $25 on my last run. The 64MB 360 cards were still $11.97 - waiting for them to be marked lower...
 
No dice on the cues, there were only about 10 of them, scanned a few and they rang up full price. They all seemed to be marked correctly, with the item number matching the shelf labels.

How valuable are the PS3 memory card adaptors? My local Sears had 5 of them for $4.97 each. I have a 360 so I have no use for them.
