Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

I can confirm that the Pinball/Mojo/Crosswords bundle is 97 cents. I checked the other 3 PS2 3-paks and they all rang up at $20. The UPC for the 97 cent 3-pak is 658517605913
 
I went to my store in Bellingham, Wash. and I almost picked up The Shivering Isles expansion pack for Oblivion for $20, but decided against it.

They still had a ton of big name titles, but unfortunately I have most of those games already.

Is that a PS2 bundle as well? I never heard of those games. Kinda glad I didn't though.

Thanks for the UPC code. I went to a Sears I hadn't been to in a month and found it, scanned the back UPC and it was $0.97. Strange it was $9.99 at the other Sears I checked last week.

The cashier was saying how it's crazy it is 33 cents a game. I have Mojo on XBox and it's ok, but for that price I'm willing to give the others a try.
 
Can anyone who's going to Sears soon get me a FF6 for GBA?
I've looked local stores but no luck.

I picked up the following today:

:360: Eternal Sonata $4.97

They had Def Jam Icon there as well, but I bought it when it was $20 and can't bring myself to play that crap. Is Eternal Sonata any good? I'm not big on RPG's at all, so I might end up trading it in...

Yeah, it'd be easier if I was going by myself as a 25 minute drive along with all the things I'd have to bring with me would be a lot for something that may not even be in stock when I arrive. My local kmart is about 20 minutes as well. Driving everywhere via local roads sucks.
 
Well, I stopped by my Sears today. Someone or someones came and bought the Dynasty Warriors Gundam and Armored Core 4 games. But luckily, I managed to find a Gundam in a different area, for $4.97. Also got both Viewtiful Joes GCN and Full Auto 2 PS3 (I have no clue where they pulled this from) for 0.97 each. $8 and change for 4 games is not a bad deal at all.

I would have bought them for myself but having sold my wii I have no way to play them so I got them for a friend since he's always wanted them but never got them.
 
Okay, Willowbrook Mall NJ is pretty much done for, unless you need a copy (or several) of :360: Def Jam Icon.

Saw :ds: Naruto Path of the Ninja but it scanned $16.97.
 
So last Monday I visited a Sears Essentials that I usually don't visit with a typical Sears game section - disorganized, misprices, etc. Plus this store hires kids to work in electronics so they usually snatch up the good deals first...nothing like asking for a clearance item and having the kid get this big sh*t eating grin on his face and saying they don't have any in stock.

I found a Tomb Raider Anniversary mispriced for $4.97 when it should have been $30. When an assistant manager came to override the price I overheard him telling the kids in electronics that he wanted to overhaul the game section. In my head I'm thinking "Yeah, right. This place will look exactly the same when I visit it again."

Well I stopped in yesterday, exactly one week later, and my jaw must have hit the floor. IT WAS ACTUALLY ORGANIZED! An entire wall had all the games neatly organized, price correctly, and all facing out so you could actually see what they had.

And one section had bargain priced games including clearance games...including clearance games that showed up out of thin air because they were not there last monday. (I'm hoping those kids were stashing the games and the stash got found during the cleanup!)

Only time I've had something like this happen the guy was like 40, and lied to me about a game's price, said he couldn't sell it even though I knew he could.
 
There's a sears near my work that I stop into now because of this thread.

They have 13 copies of mercury meltdown, all $14.99 =/

all the MMR's i've seen are $14.99 as well and i've been to 4 sears.... 1 of the MMR's had a clearance sticker of $14.97 and they raised the price to $14.99... makes me wonder if they took off the generic UPC
 
So I went to the Laguna Hills, CA Sears on Monday night and found Def Jam: Icon for the 360 which rung up at $4.97. The clerk looked over at the clearance bin and then asked where I got the game from. I said the clearance bin. He said are you sure. I said yes. He said that he couldn't sell the game to me because that title was supposed to be pulled and shipped back to the manufacturer. 8ull$h1t!!

I've seen this guy before and purchased a few $5 games at this location, but not very many, so I didn't make a big deal of it. I strongly believe, at this point, that I won't find cheap clearance games at this Sears anymore.

I bought a bunch of copies for a few things. To have a sealed copy, Give to Friends/Get extra case, one for Goozex, 2 for Amazon. So yah, thats what I did with the 5 I got.

For Joe 2, only picked up one, swapped it out with they copy I already had, and listed and already shipped that one on Goozex. similar with the Urbz.

I know a sears that has a few Holiday 2007 Wii and 360 games, but for some reason will not put them on clearance. Ether the games are eventully going to be put on clearance, they will just go OOS, or the store will close down (The mall its in is shutting down, which is a shame since they have a bunch of games and little organization)

Why pay for games in the clearance items in the electronics section. Pay somewhere else in the store, any youngster will lie to keep the game for themselves

This guy was probably in his 30's... but yes if I find any games at this store in the future, I will take it to another department, assuming the douche doesn't pull the clearance games for himself now.

I asked the guy about Lair, because they used to have them but he didn't bother checking the store terminal and used the stupid computer they have with their website on it.

I knew it wouldn't be on there but humored him anyway. He told me to try GS.
Right.

I bought my two games and checked the clearance bin one last time.
I noticed that a game fell through a crack on the side as I shuffled them around.
I look under the table and there's a sole Lair just lying there in the middle of the floor.

"Hey guy, found that game I asked you for."

That's when I would've had him call for a manager and bring this kid's actions to his or her attention.
 
Grabbed DQMonsters:Joker for $4.97 today!! I was surprised as this Sears ususally doesn't have anything as far as clearance games.

.... all in all, it's a good day! Found a mint copy of ZOE2 at another GS and with the 20% off (edge + coupon), who could argue with that? :D
