Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

My Sears Essential follows the clearance items that are reported but they do tend to be a little behind on the updates. I consider myself lucky since it's YMMV for other people.
 
Last I heard from my sears when peaking over at there inventory sheet, there was an 80GB black iPod for $25, but the only one they had went missing.

I would say definitely Crossfire, I saw that this week at my local Sears for $9.97 and Warriors has been $4.97 for at least 2 months now...Lots of new to the clearance bin titles for March-hopefully they drop a bit every month. By the time my haul from the B2G1 @ GS is played out they should be at the $4.97-$9.97 sweet spot!

sorry it took awhile but i updated the OP. i had to move the PSP and Gamecube list on the 2nd post (i exceeded). its a monsterous update worth checking out. alot of new ones. again thanks to everyone who reported their finds! keep em coming.

  1. please be specific when reporting your finds. we all know that some games are multi-platform so specify which ones did you find that were on clearance.
  2. if youre going to round the prices to the nearest dollar (taking the .97 off the price), please remind us. if it werent for other peoples find i wouldnt have added them to the list because $20 might have been the new retail price instead of the .97. i actually added a little note at the top of the first page explaining why this is important.

also, im not done updating, some prices for GBA and NDS games have changed so i have to update it later tonight or this afternoon. i have to go to work now :)

On bigger ticket items, how do closeout/discontinued items prices work? Do they keep reducing those prices? Saw things of interest.

If they did and I could've somehow come back each month to remove the new reduced price sticker/sign from it until it's within the price ranger where I wanna buy it, I'd do it on a couple of the LCD tv's they have at my one local store.

Of course, that's as bad as stashing games in Target and waiting for the clearance cycle to reach the point where you want to buy them. Plus, I'm sure LP would want to have a word with me for removing a price sticker/sign.
 
Yeah, I saw a tv of interest, but still too high. Well, to me at least. I also saw some excess Christmas toys sitting on an endcap, at a whopping 20% off. I'm patient.
 
Yeah I did scan them. Still 20% off. It's the toys I picked up from Target for 75% off back in mid January. RC stuff, Nerf stuff, and Laser Tag stuff. I guess I'll wait another month. Their video game stuff's up to date though. Weird.
 
I was out actually searching for the 80 Gig iPod. Found Dynasty Warriors Gundam($4.97)PS3, and FF:RotSS($4.97)360 at another Sears. The other Sears with the toys was looted for all their games weeks ago during that $4.97 rush. Just watching toys there.

I'm loving these latest drops. All my Sears have gamestops right by them and all my sears have Singstar 80s, Singstar Country bundle, WC Poker PSP, Block Party, Manhunt 2, and usually something miscellaneous and worth throwing in for the extra 50% bump. Now with the B2G1, I'm getting pretty loaded on games and credit.

A couple of those were $4.97 last month. I wonder why they didn't get cheaper?
 
All 3 of those were $4.97 last month, a lot of other $4.97 games didn't drop like NBA Street Homecourt on the 360. Sometimes stuff doesn't drop for months. ATV Offroad Fury 3 on PS2 was $7.97 for 6+ monhts.
 
when people buy them at the price they dropped them last, most likely they will not do another drop. the markdowns are only necessary when the retailer cannot sell the merchandise. it just make sense since people are buying them at say $19.97.

if youve been a cag for awhile you'll notice this practice from Circuit City to Target. alot of my targets are actually sticking to their first markdowns (30%). it took them nearly 3 weeks to bring down $14.98 games to $7.48
 
Just came back from the Garden City, NY store and found that the Nyko DualCharger AC for PS3 dropped to $0.97. I picked up one, and left the other 2 or 3 for other LI CAG's.

Yeah, I got Metroid Prime DS, F1 Championship PS3 and DQM for $4.97 each today. This was at a store that had already done the MAR drops.
 
Every store I have been to has Vol 2 with the regular games but that doesn't mean anything considering with Volume 1 and Country they were locked in the case not tagged, I'll price check it next time I am at a Sears but that probably won't be until Monday at the earliest.
 
yeah we should try to price check that game, SingStar vol 2. it came out almost the same time as Buzz TV so its probably on clearance also. that and guitar hero 3 game only and bundle.

these might have been mentioned by i think i missed them. but i'll add them now.
 
Today, I went to a Sears that was completely cleared. Someone (more than likely inside job) stole all of the games in inside 3 out of 4 cases. All that was left was DS games. Sad. But I found some 0.97 games and singstar 80's. oh well.

edit:Is the DS Browser back up to 29.99 ?

My local Sears still has Singstar2 at regular retail-$69.99 I believe. They did their Mar clearance for sure too as I picked up Singstar Country bundle for $9.97. Maybe next month for SS2?
 
If it does go on clearance next month it looks like we will have to wait a while for it to get to a really low price. Figuring $24.97 for the first drop, if it got to $14.97 or $9.97 after that so I guess in May, I'd probably get it. Not that $24.97 isn't a good price but I already have Pop 1, Pop 2, 80's, 90's, Amped, Legends, Abba for PS2 and Vol 1 for PS3 so I don't mind waiting.
 
Wish I checked this thread before I went out to compare Gamestop and eBay with the prices at Sears.. but I was already out at the time.

Picked up Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 for GC $0.97 each.

How much are you getting for all that stuff?
 
I just came back from my local Sears and found Splinter Cell Double Agent for 10 dollars. I also got FEAR for the 360 but I was able to get it price matched with gamestop so they gave it to me for 15.47 post tax (I didn't know this but they price match with 110% of the difference, sorry if this is old news to everyone). Quick question about everyone else's sears, do ya'll have like a closeout bin then like have other bins with 25 and under and 30 and under? I'm trying to figure out if this is normal for a sears or if mine just has an excess of games.
 
1 Sears near me has a rack with clearance games on it, many are still not priced mixed in with the regular games though

Another Sears has all the clearance games in a bin but also has all the $29.99 and under games in another bin but none of those are clearance games.
