Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

I'm pretty sure it was all of the above- the interesting thing about Wal-Mart though was that it happened way before anyone else- and it happened nationwide (not YMMV). I picked up 2 of them.

I use my xbox live cam on my ps3 and it works just fine for Singstar, but it doesn't work on that free video thing you can download from the PSN. Maybe the PS3 sees it as a PS2 eyetoy?
 
If anyone wants Final Fantasy V for the GBA, you have a few minutes to let me know. It's $5 and I'm standing right by it. I already have it, will trade it one for one for a different GBA Final Fantasy.

I give up. Every damn sears near me has Oblivion PS3 at $19.99 and not on clearance. Oblivion GOTY is at $24.99. I wonder if Oblivion PS3 being on clearance is a regional thing since my region didn't seem to get the memo (I must have tried it at around 8 Sears stores).
 
Is this happen in the sears in the northwest? I'll go check out my local sears than. Did pick upva copy of saints row 2 collector edtion at fred myer for 20$:)

By the way. DDR Universe 2 Bundle was 39.99, they didn't have anything else, regretfully.

Not this month. The day after I picked up Folklore for $14.97 and HS for $19.97 last month, all remaining copies were gone.

Has anyone ever gone to one of their outlet stores? I have an outlet appliance center near me- but I see that there are regular clearence stores throughout the country. Do the games make it there? Or do they get sent back to the manufacturer?
 
Does the $14.97 price for Bioshock 360 only apply to the Platinum Hits version? At my local Sears, I had an employee (who was updating prices) check an original release copy with the sleeve. It came up as $29.99.

No, it only applies to the PS3 version. And I've only seen it at $19.97 so far. Has anyone else seen it for $14.97?

$19.99 at my local Sears as well. I scanned the UPC at 3 or 4 different stores last month. It was $19.99 at all except one that had it for $9.97.

Ah, well the op is wrong then. It has the current price for Bioshock for the 360 as $14.97. I was looking forward to picking it up, but who knows how long it will be before it is even placed on clearance? $29.99 is a long way away from $14.97.
 
Pretty decent deals at my Sears in Bellingham, Wash.

They had a ton of copies of Guitar Hero Aerosmith w/ guitar for $25 too.

btw whoever reported that bioshock 360 was on clearance before, i checked several stores and they weren't. so im putting YMMV next to it.

Same for a handful of Appliance showroom stores which did have more than appliances, but no games.

The 9.97 Wii puzzle game is Puzzler Collection which received a whopping 4.8 on IGN. The battery charger that is 23.97 is the Nyko Charge Station 360.

If it got cheap enough I'd get it for the two black batteries since I only have white batteries and a black controller. It's a good charger, I got one from Target clearance a year or two ago, but one battery doesn't like the black controller. Fits a little funny and acts like there is no charge. Put it in the white controller and it works fine.

Has anyone seen if PS3 Buzz dropped anymore in this round? It was the main reason I went to Sears and I ended up forgetting too check the bundles in the bottom of the PS3 case. They may have been gone though cause I usually notice the lone items in the bottom of the case.

Also, what's up with .93 pricing? Is it YMMV pricing? There are some Boston satellite speakers I'd like to get to add to my 5.1 set to get 7.1, but I don't want to spend the 49.93 each they are priced at and have been for six months. There's still a bunch as none have sold, but I'm getting antsy. They are not on clearance at a store back home in VA so I gotta wonder if it's up to a manager to notice they are still there and should get dropped more.

Also, one more find I forgot to post:

PS2 2 pack Memory cards (1 red/1 blue) is now on clearance. It's five bucks cheaper than the black memory card by itself so I think it's 19.97 although it could be 29.97. What's one official PS2 memory card cost nowadays? I'm set on those so I don't know the going rate on them.

Buzz PS3 fell five dollars to $19.97. I'm personally still waiting for it to fall another $5 or $10 before I get it.
 
Hello all. :) I'm new to these forums.

Well I found Guitar Hero Aerosmith bundle at the Sears here near me for 24.97. My sister has been wanting a Guitar Hero for a while so I figured it wasn't a bad deal considering how much the other bundles I've seen usually are.

Even if it is a older game it's still not bad for the guitar controller since they work with all GH games. :)

EDIT: Oh and it was 24.97 for both the XBox 360 and PS3 versions.

I asked (the 1 nice/cooperative employee in my Sears' electronics department) when the May markdowns were going to be done and why they hadn't happened yet. He said they should be done by sunday which I told him was great considering that the March stickers were still on the games. He kind of laughed it off. I didn't want to be a jerk, but it's annoying to stop in every day and see these jokers standing around doing nothing instead of doing the damn markdowns.

Sorry for the mini rant. Contra 4 DS still 19.99 in my part of Jersey.

I just picked up a Sandisk 1GB Micro SD card w/adapter for 2.97, I don't know if that's cheap for SD cards these days but it was the right price for me! UPC is 619659023898 in case anyone is looking for it at their store. This had the may sticker on it so may markdowns have happened here.
 
Sears in evansville has les paul guitar hero aerosmith for 25. dbz burst limit, iron man, and blacksite area 51 for 14.97. also have transformers and stranglehold for 9.97. those were all for 360 had other games but thats all i remember. guitar hero was for ps3, ps2 and 360.
all i got was dbz wasnt sure i liked the rest. sorry bout the grammer but posted on my cell.

That's not bad at all, did they have anymore at your store? I'm going to check it out tomorrow at a sears nearby.
 
picked up ps2 singstar rocks bundle for $4.97. Saw over 10 of GHIII & AEROSMITH bundle for 360 or ps3. I did not check the price though cause I have both of them. Man, this GH stuffs' price drops a lot. I paid $95 for world tour and GH III (two games and two wirless guitar controllers) back last Nov. Paid $25 for aerosmith game only then
