Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

While I applaud your effort, a lot of the "CP" prices are not reflecting the current June drops.
 
So did anyone check the price of the GHAerosmith game only? As tempting as it is to grab the bundle for $8, I don't need ANOTHER plastic guitar in the house.

Game only is 9.97, I believe.

I just bought for the XBox 360:

GH:Aerosmith bundle - 7.97
GH:III bundle - 4.97(!)
Shadowrun - 1.97

and Timeshift for PS3 - 1.97

... plus my discount, I spent less than $17. I already had GH:III for PS3, and I have Rock Band 2 PS3, so now I have two guitars for both systems. Overkill? Maybe, but if I remember correctly, the XBox wireless guitars don't suck. It might make GH:III playable.
 
I really love Sears. I stopped by and picked up the following...

$8 for GH Aerosmith w/ guitar for Ps3 (360 version was still $50)
$10 for Ninja Gaiden II
$70 for 120gb HD

Civilization Revolution was out of stock and is the last game I'm looking to pick up from the clearance bin. The Sears near my workplace had one or two in stock last time I was there. I'll have to pick it up Monday if they still have it.
 
I saw PS3 MLB 08 the Show for $14.97 (did a quick search and the last mention I found had it at $24.97).

The last GS TIV quote (late April) for the wireless guitar is $10, so you could keep the game AND feed the evil corporate machine at the same time. :D
 
The guy in front of me bought the only copy of heavenly sword. If only I'd gotten there 5 minutes earlier. I did manage to get folklore for $10 and motorstorm for $5, but I was really hoping for heavenly sword. If anyone happens to come across an extra copy, I'll gladly buy it from them or trade for it (is folklore hard to find, because I've seen a ton of copies).

Also, do these price cuts mean that they are trying to sell off their unwanted stock, or might my sears get more copies of heavenly sword?

Granted for the price no it is not worth it, but Microsoft being the money grubbers they are were smart to make a Specific HDD made specifically for the system so in words if you want a bigger HDD you have to buy the ones they make at the prices they subject you to.

So $70 is way better then the original what $120 ?

I stopped by this particular Sears last night. Now, they have a big bin of $19.99 and under games in the electronics department. Some more games on shelves.
I believe a fellow CAG cleaned out this Sears. No cheap PS3 games to be found:cry:.

Well, My store actually tends to mark the games once every 2 or 3 months. So sometimes you get lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you view it) to have them properly marked.

The first one. They are gettin rid of these bad boys completely. Even, after a while the games will not even ring up in the system anymore because they're so old.

Argh. That's the complete opposite of my situation. The PS3 version rang up at $49.xx while the 360 version was $7.xx.

I rang up various items and only Dead Head Fred was the game that rang up higher than the reported price. ($19.98 instead of $1.97)

A huge thank you for all the contributors to this thread. You guys saved my family and me a lot of money today :).

Yeah, I forgot to mention Dead Head Fred rang up for $19.99 at another Sears (before I found it for $1.97).

Another thing I noticed was that Bioshock PS3 was actually raised in price from $19.97 to $29.99. Anyone else experience this?

One last update, Buzz PS3 dropped down to $14.97 with the June drops.
 
Picked up in Las Cruces, NM a copy of Folklore PS3 for $9.97. Also got the DDR Universe 3 bundle on 360 for $19.97. DDR was marked at 40 bucks, and Folklore was actually marked right.

Picked up Timeshift today for $1.97, Simpsons PS3 $4.97, and 2 copies of GH3 game only for PS2 for $1.97 each for gifts. Checked TNA for PS2 and it was $9.97 at this particular Sears whereas the PS3 version was still $19.99. Found all these behind the glass.

Anyone else have input regarding The Show '08 PS3? It was this time last year when Show '07 hit $4.97, so I'm getting pretty excited for that. :)

Went to my two Sears looking for these awesome deals. Only managed to find Condemned 2 for $5 :( Really wanted Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword and some lesser titles

I was waiting for Simpsons game to hit $5, so I'm glad I found it. It wasn't in the clearance bin but still came up at the new price.
DBZ Burst Limit, I know the PS3 version has been found for $5, but I only found 360. It's worth $10 though, no point in leaving it for someone else.

Guitar Hero, I just got because my brother is obsessed with the games but we never had the original for some reason. As for Aerosmith, there were a couple more for PS2 and Wii, but no 360 unfortunately.
 
Picked up Shadowrun since at 2 bucks I could use it as a spare case, probably was some really dirt cheap stuff to be had but no price tags on any of the games.

I went to both of my local Sears stores over the past couple of days and I found HUGE gaps in both the PS3 and 360 cases at the one store, while I found that they had finally moved the copies of Folklore out of the case at the other one.

I ended up picking up GH: Aerosmith for PS3 for $8 today, which is a decent since I think it still trades to GS for about the same(more with guitar trade-in seperate).

Unfortunately, the one Sears was looted of anything decent in the way of $5-10 games for PS3 and the other one has been dry as a bone for MONTHS now.

this was at the hurst, TX store... they had a bunch of other "clearance" games people here have listed, but not at clearance prices...
 
i swung by another sears and bought :ps3: spiderman: web of shadows for $9.97. the funny thing is that the sales associate told me it was $19.99, but i asked him to scan it. it turned out to be $9.97. the look on his face was priceless, haha.

the june sales at sears have been awesome. looking forward to the next round of drops:)

got shadowrun 360 for 1.97, for some reason condemned 2 360 was still 9.97 at my store

ps does anyone know how often they drop the price on the floor model tvs they are clearancing?

YMMV on this one, I scanned the regular and gold editions, both were 29.99. (But then again this was at a store that had Dead Head Fred for 19.99 too).

Blacksite : Area 51, anyone find this cheap? I believe it was last seen at $14.97 for both systems.
 
Sears (Rivergate Mall) Madison, TN - cashier said someone was in the day before and hauled out a bunch of $4.97 and $1.97 games...still a variety left, some marked with the may clearance but the june prices were in the system. did manage to pick up 2 copies of Naruto:Clash 2 (Wii) for 4.97. They will make great gifts.

Aww crap I saw like three copies at the store I went to earlier but it was marked $9.97 and I didn't bother to check because most of the stuff had june tags. :cry:

Went to the local Sears in the Stones River Mall in Murfreesboro, TN. Epic fail. It seems that this Sears no longer stocks video games. One of the employees told me that video games could be found either at their online site or larger Sears. Oh well. Silver lining to the adventure: met up with an old friend from high school who is now a manager at GS.

You're welcome, I've been to 10 Sears and none have had Monster Hunter 2 or Jeanne D'arc for less than full price.

There are Sears that there is no such thing as late. There are 2 Sears I go to that I have to be the only person who buys games there, in fact at one store today pretty much said that to me.
