Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Also scanned :ps3: Folklore for $9.97, but I didn't bite. An employee was behind the counter going through the clearance bin and adding stickers, so I may go back tomorrow to see what else they have.

There were other games but I can't remember everything. I do remember seeing one game for the PS that was $1.97 that was about a guy who changes heads? I forgot what it was but it looked cheesy and my bf was laughing at it. I almost got it just for the hell of it.

No PS3 clearence to be found at all! It seems like all the PS3 games go first around here.

They had some digital frames 8" for $20. The old price was still there and they were $149.

That's a decent price for those digital frames. I did, however, find two of those Coby 7'' digital frames reported earlier for the $9.98 price, so I'm not sure an inch is worth doubling the price though ;). Perhaps if the price drops lower in the coming months.

Also, my brother spotted Coby 5'' digital frames for $4.98. He didn't get a chance to write down the model number or UPC but I'm thinking there's only one or two of those 5'' Coby digital frames anyway.

I did notice other frames that were on clearance but not cheaper than $20 at my store. Either way, if anyone needs a frame, they should check them out when they go looking for games. They make great gifts. ;)
 
oh, and I don't buy everything I post. It's just to confirm a lot of prices though some might be new.

Oh yeah, they had a Samsung Bluray player for $148 or so. Not sure how great of a deal that is since I'm not into movies but that's the cheapest I've seen one in a store.
 
its great to see people posting their finds rather than just have 1 person confirming theirs. its not such a bad thing. thats what makes a good and active thread.

but to everyone who does, sometimes please take the extra mile and scan an older titles (like a wii games if its not imprisoned on one of their glass cases. ie Wario Ware, Fire Emblem, and others). i know we do have people who tells us what drops are listed but sometimes sears could still be a little unpredictable and more often YMMV on certain items.

Stopped by a sear on my way to grocery shopping today and got:

Will be keeping 2 guitars for me and my friends. They still have plenty left but didn't feel like i should hog them all. Anyone know about a good clearance LCD (around 26-32")in sear or anywhere?

Anytime I miss a deal here in the Atlanta area I look forward to the next time I head back home in that area even if it's gonna be a few months cause I know I'll usually find what I missed there in the tri-cities except for the Bristol Sears which always keeps clearance stuff clearly marked and out front on a table. Once I picked up a bunch of $2 and $3 games like PSU, Perfect Dark, and a couple others for trade here at CAG and padding in trade-ins requiring certain numbers of games because they had sat around at that store FOR THAT PRICE for something like 8-10 months. I figured at that point it should be fair game for picking up multiples and I still left at least a couple of each game. Shoot, some were OOS, but they knew the last price and sold them as such.

I usually try to do that but unfortunately Fire Emblem: RD and Wario Ware Smooth Moves were still imprisoned in the glass case :cry: Those two are way overdue for a clearance drop.
 
Only one find yesterday:

Sears (Bellevue/Nashville, TN) at the now defunct mall:
Mortal Kombat Armageddon (Wii) - 9.97

tons of games for all systems still in bins or glass case but none are really worth anything or are still full price from what I could see. employees are happy to let you peruse and assist since no one comes in this location it seems anymore.

Wow, I got that one for $9.97 back in March. I guess that one just hasn't gone down since then.

Picked up Ninety Nine Nights for 4.97 and Lost Odyssey for 9.97, was unable to find Eternal Sonata or Dynasty Warriors Gundam, unfortunately.
 
The new clearance prices i still ranging 14.99 to 9.99 in my area but i was able to pick up a copy of Guitar Hero 3 ($2.97) for my GF brother.

Eternal Sonata and Dynasty Warrior Gundam were long gone in my area since the February Clearance but good luck finding them.

Yeah, I figured they would be gone everywhere, but was hoping there was an off chance there would be an overlooked copy or two

You think you're mad, every Sears I go to I ask to scan Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and every time it scans for $39.99. This is at like 6 different Sears stores.

Went to Montgomery Mall. Nice guy behind the counter informed me that I just missed ALL of the $1.97 and $4.97 PS3 games that someone who came in from "Ass Cheap Gamer" bought all of them.

Come on guys, THE FIRST RULE OF CAG! I don't even mind that whoever got them got them, he said you bought over 20 of them, nice haul. But PLEASE don't tell them about our site!

Yes, they may try to argue it, but their signs & website say the only clearance stuff they cant price adjust is clearance apparel.


 
When the workers at Sears ask me about how I know the games are so cheap, I just say "the internet" and don't say anything more than that.
 
Just got back from Newpark Mall in Newark, CA. Scanned a bunch with my own UPC codes, but they didn't actually have most of them. Here's what they did have:

I hit up a further away Sears today, hoping to score a $10 copy of Heavenly Sword, since I never finished it when GS had it for $30 used last fall as a one week special.

Unfortunately, that Sears didn't have a single copy of HS, but I did grab the following(ALL for PS3):

Condemned 2: $4.97
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars:$4.97
Civ Rev:$9.97
Folklore:$9.97

They had two copies of Folklore left, one of Civ Rev and one of Condemned 2. I asked about Warhawk bundles, but I was told they sold out soon after they went on clearance.

Unfortunately, there was not a single PS3 or 360 GH: Aerosmith bundle to be found(not that I need another one), but I did see some Wii bundles. I also checked for some $1.97 Singstar bundles for PS3, but those were cleaned out as well.

Oh and Jeanne D'Arc was $29.99 at this Sears as well.

I never find any good clearance prices at my Sears, especially something for $1.97. So I was very surprised.
 
Chesterfield, Mo. had a few of the GH Aerosmith bundles at $7.97. I got the last :ps3:, but I believe there was one:wii: and a couple :ps2:. They also had a few GH III bundles at $14.97, both :ps3: and :360:, which I skipped.

The worker seemed fairly knowledgeable, but he was pretty stunned about the prices on both, all bundles being on a clearance shelves with $49.99 clearance tags which he claimed were just put up a day or two ago.

Sears is quickly becoming my favorite spot for clearance games. I've found more deals there in the last week or so than I normally find in months of every other store combined.
 
Enid, OK had a few :ps3: GH Aerosmith bundles for $7.97, I grabbed the last bundle for the 360. I decided to pick up the last copy of :ps3: Buzz @ $14.97 (marked 19.97). The local store also had 2 120GB hard drives for the 360 @ $69.97.
