Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here
Quick question regarding the Sandisk 4 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo - what does the package look like for it? I see a few scattered about but is it the black memory card labeled Mark II or one of the colored ones?
It looks like a normal basic card in a boring standard case. It looks EXTREMELY generic but has a "less plastic" icon on the package.

This is what the ones I got look like...

They also had two blue ones in essentially the same packaging. The only difference other than the color, was that it said "Take More Video" near the middle.
What do you all do with these multiple Sandisk cards you're buying?
I use mine on my psp for videos.

Fair enough. Anyway I do notice that other games are now entering the clearance cycle, like the other DS Layton games, and Wii Red Steel with motionplus. This stuff is 24.97 or 29.97 right now so not much of a deal, but its good to know that with a lot of games currently bottoming out at $5ish that there will be more clearance deals in the months to come.

Anyway, has anyone got the current price of the Xbox 360 60GB HDD/starter kit? I can't seem to bring it up in Google price search no matter what I type.

Rang up $49.97 at Neshaminy Mall in PA yesterday.

I went to sears finally seeing as several years ago they were getting out of selling videgames. Last time I went to sears was when I bout a slim ps 1 on clearance for $50 (LOL) So I recently revisited sears and here were my finds:

wii speak $5.97
punch out wii $9.97
professor layton and the curious village $5.97

they also had fire emblem wii for $24.97
Rca ez2000 camcorder. 720p. For 7.97. Still 99.99 on sears.com
Sweet this is coming up in my area for $14.97 per Google shopping
Sweet this is coming up in my area for $14.97 per Google shopping
It's showing up $14.97 for me at my closest store and $10.97(but OOS:cry:) at the further store.

I had a chance to pick up one of these a couple of years back from Kmart when they clearanced something similar for about the same price. I'll probably pass on these too.

I'd kill for one of my local Sears to have a 7" Sylvania netbook show up in stock for $10 though cuz I could use one at the auctions if my boss doesn't lemme go rambling around to the stores to go deal hunting.;)

Went to one more Sears yesterday.

Found a :ds:CivRev for $3.97, but it was opened. Ended up buying it anyways. Also found FFX (or was it FFXII...? The one everyone else found.)

Also picked up Jeanne d'Arc, FES, Dokomodake, Spore Creatures, R&C, Trauma Center 2, another DQ4, another Hotel Dusk.

Saw, but didn't pick up, $12.97 2GB Mem Pro Duos, $49.99 360 60GB HDD, wired 360 controllers $24.97, DMC4, Wii Speak, and a lot of other games.

Only thing I was looking for but didn't find were the memory cards.

Ugh....the sears I was at yesterday shows Limited stock for those. No reception in that store so I couldnt read this thread. That makes Little Big Planet AND the netbook I missed out on. I'm going back on Friday, if theres more than one available I'm grab them all at that price to share with my fellow CAG's!

LOL what the heck? A sub-quality netbook for $10? Shows limited stock near me, sears is just a mile down the road. Thinking of checking it today... sounds like my 9 year old would love a 'my-first-craptastic-computer' kind of thing. Still weird, though. o_O

You want craptastic? I wasn't that well versed on PC equipment in 2000/2001, so when I bought a used PC I bought one from a local yokel shop for over what it woulda cost for a NEW one.

Funny thing is, my PC I bought then(which I still have) has only two times the memory of that netbook(256mb's) and is under a gig in processing power.
Rca ez2000 camcorder. 720p. For 7.97. Still 99.99 on sears.com
Thanks. Found the last one at my store. This will be great for the family.
Rca ez2000 camcorder. 720p. For 7.97. Still 99.99 on sears.com
Thanks from me too! Google said limited stock, sears site said 1 in stock. Stopped by and they had two so I got one. Hopefully I'll like it and use it until I find a good deal on a fullfledged Canon. Charging now to check it out.

Noone knows about if any band hero boxes eventually came with the new drumset apparently. Checked today and all 15 boxes were gone so I couldn't check sizes. Much worse news is I opened up the one I got Friday and the wires on the drumset have crumbled in spots. Guess I can return it and miss the deal or try contacting the company. The drums were the main reason for me to get this. New guitar seems cool though.

For others who have the drumset cable problem, have you contacted the company? Any ideas?

Yuck don't bother with that mess of a netbook unless you're going to sell it or whatever. I can't even get the internet working (wired or wireless). I wasn't expecting much, but I was hoping it would at least work bare minimum for something like google. Total junk. A search (after I bought it) revealed threads of people buying this brick (for $99, LOL glad I only paid $10). Oh well.
I bought
12+1 months Xbox Live Card (Pre-activated one) $9.97
3 Months Xbox Live Card (Pre-activated one) $3.97
Interesting find. Google shows the 3 mo in stock near me for $3.97, but either there isnt any local stock for the 12+1 or its the wrong price or Im just not seeing it. Meh, either way

Sears is back!!!

Halo 3 ODST/Forza 3 Elite 120 GB 360 bundle $99.97
Sylvania crappy but functioning netbooks x3 9.97
Socom Bundle 9.97
Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time 5.97
Mirror's Edge 3.97

Great trip, happy hunting all!!!

Glad you got yours working... the actual internet explorer wont work for me. Says its found the page and wants to load it, but NOTHING shows up no matter what address. The youtube "app" works (search shows the video thumbnails) so the net is "working" I just can't get it to surf. Blah oh well.

Hot deal on the 360, btw! woot
I really don't want to go back through the thread to find it, but how do you use google to search this crap?
Google Products Use that link. Search the game you're looking for and select it from the list. Select "Nearby Stores" at the top and that should give you a list of store locations and prices.

Found 2 of these but they were $14ish.

Told you guys you cant watch porno on It

They were also $14.97 near me. I'm hoping they last another drop to under $10, but I doubt it since they are correctly tagged.

I was told I missed the NetBook by a few hours today.

I was so disappointed today. Went to the local sears to check out the clearance and almost all were up to date with no deals. Then I stumbled across an oblivion GOTY with a February sticker of 24.97. Stoked to go get it scanned and it came up the same price... They did have a band hero PS2 bundle for $20 though

Picked up:

2x R&C: Crack in Time - $5.97
1x Singularity (PS3) - $9.97

First time I've encountered a Sears clearance, but a ton of games were in the basket I found the games in. Is that normal?
I bought

Google products said that my sears had this price on the 3 month card, as well as some of the other prices here, but when I went to sears it all rang up normal prices.

Same here, except they also had $50 12 month cards, and when I asked for it to be scanned (to make sure of the price), the lady said she couldn't sell it to me and that they were supposed to be sent back to the manufacturer.

What is the sears item number for that 360?

There are 2 of the original Lips bundles at one of my Sears, just taunting me. But they still ring up $49.99 every time I go. I think they were down to $25 or less at some places a while back. They refuse to drop at this one location.

I passed on a bunch of DS games that look fun, but I will probably never play them: Castlevania:OoE, Rhythm Heaven, Curious Village, etc. And I couldn't bring myself to get Dark Void. I've become too picky I think.

Grabbed:

:ps3:Marvel Ultimate Alliance $9.97
:ps3:Singularity $9.97
:ps3:LBP $9.97
:ps3:Ratchet & Clank Future a Crack in Time $5.97
:ps2:FF XII $3.97

Saw a big guy in a red shirt digging through the bins at the same time I was. I later saw him in the parking lot with a GS bag. He either went on a gaming binge or he was buying from Sears, walking a few stores down and flipping them at GS.

The 4 GB SD cards were OOS at my store, but the peg had a price "on sale" for $9.99. There were plenty of the 2 GB at $12.

As an added bonus, there were two girls at the checkout I went to. The really cute one was wearing a tight v-neck shirt and was just standing behind the other watching. Then she kept leaning forward onto the counter. =P~ She was doing it so often that I think it was on purpose.

The original Ultimate Alliance is $10? fuck. I passed up one the other night at the Sears here, as well as a vanilla LBP that I didn't realize was $10 till I got home.:bomb: Then again, I already played it(multiple times) on the old Xbox and I never finished LBP ANY of the times I've had it, so I don't really need to play them again. I already have the downloadable version of LBP from the Sony WB program too, so I shouldn't really spend $10 just to have a disc version.

But then again, I also played through Prototype already and I picked that back up too.:whistle2:#

Just checked on Google, but it shows there are none of those at my Sears.

HA! I already picked up Singularity used from Family Video for $10 but it was without manual. I figure I can just flip the used copy and have a fresh minty version for whenever I get around to playing it.

That's too bad. Because they were real, and they were spectacular.

Between the flood of noob GameFAQ/Kotaku/Joystiq/Destructoid people on CAG and the lazy Google shopping method allowing people to scan prices without actually being there, Sears clearance is going to become as YMMV (read: don't even bother trying) as Target clearance. :whistle2:#

This thread went from the sacred, bumped once a month holy ground on CAG to El Hoardo Super Bait in a matter of days.

Ah well. At least Sears stopped playing games with the pricing and maybe now they are seeing how fast we can clear out their dust-collecting inventory if the price is right. Here's hoping for new games to enter the cycles monthly now instead of yearly.

Agreed and especially with the drops only once a month. At least with Target if you want to try to get something at 75% off, if you got there on Monday, you had somewhat of a chance. Now it's more risky to wait for a drop at Sears especially with it seems like more stores correctly tagging stuff and putting it in a separate clearance bin (at least near me).

Here's hoping the prices continue to drop in huge chunks now (like they did from $15 to $5 this month) so that this remains a battle between good (CAGs that PLAY games) and evil (CAGs that HOARD/FLIP games) without having to worry about casual weekend shoppers pillaging the battlefield in between.
