I got a lot of the new drops, lucky me. Somehow I missed the Live Starter kit for $20. Ugh! Maybe I'll be back later. I did notice another nice drop that I haven't seen posted here as of yet (unless it's a drop from last month...)

Congrats to you guys. I think they also had Banjo and Kazooie there to, but my backlog is too big and probably won't pick up anymore games unless we are talking less then $3 for older titles, $10 or less for newer ones.
 
For those wondering, some markdowns are YMMV and decided upon by the electronics manager of that specific store.

The list I posted was transmitted directly from HQ, so these should be nationwide I'm assuming. Don't take my word on it though.

Yes this is the correct model and it rang up 99.97. Including mine the salesman sold 13 of them is 9 minutes, he was talking about his tv sales bonus he would be getting. I just hooked the first one up and it looks great with the Directv HD feed.

No silver DS3 for me, I swear they had a bunch of them a few weeks ago. :wall: On the plus side my local store hasn't done their markdowns yet. Unfortunately they don't have anything that really sticks out for pickups. I did grab two 8mb PS2 memory cards, two charge link cables and Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII. I might have to go back after studying the list here more closely.

Went back a second time today to check on some of the things others have mentioned. Managed to find the ps2 stuff, at least! :applause:

Also saw :ps2: Remote Control for $2.97. I don't use my ps2 as a DVD player so I passed on it. Also passed on another copy of :360: Oblivion.

I'm hoping there will be some ninja drops soon; I ran into the lady doing clearance signing at the store and she said she heard that Sears (I assume she meant only that one) was planning to get rid of all their games. Does anyone know if they get shipped off to other stores or do they go on super duper clearance until they're all gone?

I'm obviously hoping for the latter. :lol:

So is it another drop? My area has the 60GB for $20. Seems like my Sears are lazy and has the old price tags from months ago. Should i wait or get it now?

I was just checking. I have a friend working in LP and said that a manager in another location got fired for marking stuff down. He said that he doesnt care since he buy stuff when it hits low. (he hates his job btw)

The shocker though was the purchase of the original :ps2: Persona 3 that comes with the art book and cd for $14.99! There were two of them. One had just the $49.99 sticker, but the one I got had the $49 one AND the $14.99... The box was beat up, but I didn't complain. :bouncy:

Just need to find one of those 8GB micro memory stick for my psp for cheap.

Damn. I may have to check my Sears tomorrow or Sunday for some cheapass cordless phone(hopefully with an answering machine) cuz the battery in mine is some generic knockoff I bought for $5 when the original one died n it only holds a charge for an hour now.:bomb:
 
All of these cheap Persona FES pick-ups that people are finding are making me think that I should go and play more of it. I haven't played a game on my PS2 in forever.

Your right when I got those three TV's today the employee had called his family to come get them if they weren't right out on the floor where you could just pick them up I would of missed out.
 
I checked the store here. Didn't really see any of the games mentioned earlier by Firecrest. I did manage to get Midnight Club L.A. for 7.97

Was told there were price drops today but looking at the list, didn't see anything worth it but gonna check tomorrow just in case
 
I was reading back on this thread and on 06-09-2011 SINGULARITY was on clearence for 40!! About 2 months later it is 5 bucks ha. Glad I picked it up.

Going back tomorrow to return Red Faction, after seeing the reviews I have no interest in it even for 5 bucks. Hopefully I can scan more games and get a Silver Dualshock 3! (which I will try to pricematch for a red one :) ]

The look on the lazy bastards' face was priceless.

If I had managed to get the guy's name I coulda sent a message along to SHC-Gamer and got the guy to stop watching ESPN like the jerkwads at a much further store did 6 months ago before I reported their asses too.;)

If you're gonna be a lazy asshole, at least go fall asleep in the back room someplace n don't ignore customers when they come in to buy shit.

So true. I've been to probably a dozen or so Sears in the past couple of months since I've started following this thread. The electronics section is always either:

1) 4 guys standing around watching ESPN or G4, ignoring every customer who walks by

2) A complete wasteland, with not a single person to be seen in the department for literally a half hour or more.

The first thing I do when I go to a store these days is find a price scanner (there's almost always one in the tool section one department over), and I help myself to the scanning. Sometimes people in the tool section look at me funny, especially when I walk back and forth 3 or 4 times, but it's better than dealing with all the asshats in electronics. The only times I approach them besides having to check out (which I sometimes do in other departments anyway) is for getting things out of cases or scanning large items like band bundles.
 
Damn, lucky. My Sears had a lot of the games, but the manager said the game prices just got updated today and none were that cheap. I did pick up the 60 GB starter kit for $20.
 
Damn, I wish I could have scanned a few things today with all the finds that are showing up. The scanners were down today so I would have had to get the employees to do all the scanning for me.

I wish I could do that. The price scanner for my Sears on on the floor above. I guess I could load up a cart and go up there....
