Yeah I've started my hunt for cheap psp games...mainly RPG's. Didnt realize there are SO MANY for the psp

I love my psp phat I bought second hand over the winter for $40.

Still on the lookout for cheap games, but between Dissidia 12, FFIV complete collection, FF Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Phantasy Star, Jeanne D'Arc, and a few others I have months before I'll be out of things to play. I picked them all up new (except FFT and phantasy star) for under $10 each.

The megaman dual pack at gamestop is a great value too if you can find it.

The screen was fine, but my faceplate was a little scratched up. I didn't want to replace the entire enclosure so I bought just the faceplate:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001SIDQRM/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details

I figured I would replace the buttons while I had it taken apart:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PSP-1000-Re...761?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c3a558c9

I picked up 8gb memory sticks at my sears when they got marked down to .97. Still waiting on the traveler case to fall further before I pick it up.

Anyone know if the kingdom hearts game is worth picking up? Never played any of them in the past.
I'm curious if anybody else has found the $50 DS Lite's or if it's just my store...
I haven't been looking BUT if I saw one I would pick it up haha.
There's a store near me with 1 PSP. It's been there for a while. In plain sight. Laughing at me.

Not too pressed about the Go. Would have sold any GOs I found. I'm more interested in the 3000.
OK. Just saw that 3000 yesterday and Google shopping does not update that fast. That thing has been there for a while. Tempted to go see if it dropped or something because it is no longer showing up on Google(*hisses at Google shopping*).

Hmmm... I did see PSP cases on clearance yesterday. Wonder if that's a sign.

May have to get my butt up!
I haven't been looking BUT if I saw one I would pick it up haha.
Yeah I've been thinking about getting a 3DS again (long story, well kinda) but for $50, damn I don't know. I may just get this because there's so many DS games I've missed out on I could literally have years of gaming.
So I finally said fuck it to the pspgo at sears and bought a psp 1001 for $20 from someone on craigslist. The guy was stranded at walmart with no money for gas to get home or food.

It was pretty funny cause he had texted me the night before that someone had offered more than I did for it. So yesterday he texted me several times literally begging me to come buy it.
That's pretty sad. I hope he was just lying about someone offering more for it, because it sounds like he really could have used the extra money. >_> Did you at least offer to give him a ride home?

On that note my sears has a copy of birth by sleep that I'll be picking up soon.
If you waited for it to rain you might of been able to buy it for $10
If you waited for it to rain you might of been able to buy it for $10
When I got there his friends were hangin out in the parking lot so it wasn't like he needed a ride home.

If I did buy one it would be my back up.

My DS library is huge. I play so many portable games it's an essential piece of hardware for me.

I am on my second DS, my first was the Zelda limited edition one but the hinge broke. :(

Same here. I've been wanting to purchase one of the housings for it, but I'm afraid I'd just mess up my current DS lite in the process. My screen already turns white if I don't hold it at a certain angle...

Paypal also is not the same as cash for me if I have to wait to transfer it to my account and especially because you lose X% to fees. That's why I'll ALWAYS take only the US Postal Service money orders or cold, hard cash for deals on here, since then I'm not losing any percentage to stupid fees.:whistle2:#

When using PayPal I try to get people to use the "I'm sending money to family or friends" option instead of "goods and services" to avoid fees. Some won't (or can't depending on their account) because they will lose buyer protection.

It's also against Paypal rules, and CAG rules, btw.

As elessar123 already pointed out, it's not only against CAG rules but it's also against Paypals' rules to do so. Unfortunately because I'm so adamantly against losing any percentage via PP fees and wanting to open the systems and assure that they are truly 100% NEW before shipping out I've likely passed up on many chances to sell them to CAG's.

I don't sell on here and how does PayPal know it's not my friend or family? ;)

So I went back to Sears today and they had three Cobalt/Black DS Lite's left....$50 even. I got one for some cheap gaming as I have a whole library of DS titles I've never played. Anyway they had two left it was at the Salisbury, MD Sears.

Note to self: Write a ^&*(*#@^ note!!!!!!! Was at 2 Sears today and mixed them up with the Targets as having them on clearance.

#-o:whee:#-o:whee:

When I did a search earlier today for the DS Lites on Google Shopping it said the cobalt/black ones were 'refurbished'. I didn't see a listing for new ones.

EDIT: I was using the search term DS Lite Cobalt Sears. But after using that same term w/o Sears it brought up the listing. It's out of stock around by me though.

I know its a little late, but thanks to the person who posted the UPC number for the Wii Points cards a few weeks back. Got 2 for 24 bucks (neither had a clearance sticker on them which was weird)! My girlfriend was super excited about that. Found Alan Wake on clearance that day for 7.98 as well (with The Signal DLC code inside so it was a super deal).

One question though, how often does sears mark down the clearance price? The sticker on Alan Wake said "March" on it, so I assume that was the begining of this month. But is it usually more than once a month? Got my eye on a few things, but with this semester winding up here and the sears being on the other side of town, I don't have time to go by once a week...

....You can get a PayPal Debit Card for free. It's linked to your PayPal account and you can use it anywhere Master Card is accepted... Furthermore if you have one and sell on eBay you can upgrade to "PayPal preferred status" and earn 1% cashback on any purchases that you use the card on when you select the "credit" feature at checkout.

Edit: and I'm not sure how cash is "King" when you have to wait three plus days for it to arrive in the mail and instead of you eating the $.30 + 2.9% fees on the transaction your buyer has to eat the Delivery Confirmation fees when sending the money, not to mention the inconvenience of havinng to wait longer and giving up his protection.

I hate PayPal as much as the next guy but it serves a purpose.

It's called convenience. I'm selling something some on here obviously want. So I wanted payment in the way I wanted it. It's called personal preference and my preference is NOT to pay some company fees if I don't really have to.:booty:

Blah , tell paypal to stop raping people and we will let them take fees.. :applause:

Thats why i only do Amazon credit. I would consider CAG gift cards, but I dont know how well that works out since people can call and report it lost/stolen and the credit could hit $0. That would suck.

Anyway to ALL CAG.

I have 250GB Hard drive (1 phat and 1 slim)
NOTE: Slim has that peg hook security thing and the box is not in mint condition. The seals are good.

The lowest I was going for is $65. I could do $55 if a CAG wants to add swag or something.

Swag: Forza 4 fuzzy dice (this was at best buy when getting the game, but BB dick me over)

Amazon credit is pretty good, but not when you want real money.:booty: As for gaming/other swag, only thing I'd probably ask for if I was gonna do a cash/MO/swag sale or trade would be 1-2 of those replicas of the "One Ring" that BB pennied out a while ago that were a pre-order bonus for putting $5 or whatever down on the extended Blu-Ray editions of the LOTR trilogy.

I really want only for trade mostly to get games, credit, or swag.

Rings? Are the rings limited/rare? I would love to get a ring since im a big fan of the movies.

I wouldn't mind one either, lol.

Saw only about half the movies, but I used to be a huge Tolkien buff (my user name comes from LotR...)

I usually go by eBay value for stuff I might consider trading for on here anymore. Yeah yeah. CAG is for CHEAPassgamers. I know. But if I'm sending out something I consider of decent value, I want something of similar value in return.

But just going by the recent completed listings for it(Feb was the most recent), I would say it's not worth too much. Each of those ended at around $7 and I think most were with free shipping.:whistle2:#

Went to the local sears today they had a white DSi that had a clearance sticker on it from february for like $130. I got it priced checked though and he said that price was right. Any idea how long they usually wait to drop the price again on clearance stuff?

On a side note they also had a ton of tv's on closeout, the guy I talked to said that they were cutting their electronics section in half.

Went to the only sears in the area with $50 DS Lites and they had 3 in stock! Only problem: no one could find them...they said it was an inventory error :(
Yes. PSP Model is not a pre-requisite for PSP games.
Some of the extra programs (Skype) or homebrew require the extra ram that the later revisions offer.

Saw a couple of the PSP3000 core bundles at a sears the other day, but passed on them since they were still sitting at $130. Did not see any price drop here.

Sucks, whenever that happens to me I usually make a point to stress how they really need to do their inventory more and actually update it...and how I wasted time coming out there, etc etc. After hearing all the stories on here I'm always going to make sure to ask to have a manager check too.

I was lucky though, these were right in the big case with all the other portables and consoles, right beside the register.

I gotta take a trek to the Sears I grabbed the PSPGo's from and have them do a return/rebuy today so I can pay with cash off my debit card. I woulda done that when I first bought them but I didn't get paid till just last week and I've been forgetting to get back there.

Lmao. You're interesting.

I got bored today so I went to see if my Sears had any of the DS Lites in stock. They were all out, but I did find something to make the trip worthwhile. :D

Is this rare or something?

Thanks for the heads up on the DS Lite deal...I went prepared since everytime I go to sears no one wants to look for anything. I googled sears cobalt ds lite and got the Sears item number to bring along with me. Google Shopping showed in stock at $49.97 and lo and behold got one out the door at that price. It was pretty funny...I had to go to merchandise pickup to actually get the item once I bought it.

It seems like it would make more sense (if you have an item on clearance) to put it out where people can find it along with the marked down price. I'm sure they would sell pretty quickly. Then you wonder why K-mart and Sears are in trouble. Anyway worked out for me this time around.
Is this rare or something?
It is out of print, and the PS3 version was going for around $60 new when Portal 2 came out.

I got two for the same price around that time last year. It was funny, the cashier asked why I was buying two copies since the PSN was down at the time. I said it has to go back up eventually.

 I went in tonight to change payment methods on the PSPGo's I have still and since I already sold one off I figured I'd just leave that one on my credit card n pay the $53 off on that once the bill comes. But I wanted to change payment on the remaining ones I have left.

So as usual there's no one at electronics in the store I got them at. I get asked if I needed any help from the lady working the appliance/vacuum cleaner section. So I figured what the hell.

She says I can return the ones I still have and then rebuy with my debit card. Cool.

Long story short, she returned the one I already sold online to somebody(so now their inventory will likely show IN-stock, even though it's not) and then had to go in and do an 'exchange' on one of the three I put on my debit card, since she scanned the product UPC barcode in place of the frickin' serial #.:dunce::imwithst:#-o#-o

It's still going for about that much. I used to have the 360 version, but I got rid of it when I sold my 360 a few weeks ago. When I checked Amazon to see how much a PS3 copy was going for, I was amazed to see it was full price. It was lucky that I found one at Sears, especially since I've combed that store's game bins for years and never seen the game.
