OFFICIAL Tony Hawk's Project 8/Downhill Jam 9.97 Costco trade thread.

I have 2-PS3 copies and 2-360 copies (I may keep 1 360 copy, but I can be persuaded).

Looking for 360/PS3-HD-DVD-Blu-Ray/PayPal

I ran by Costco and picked up three two one copy of the 360 version of THP8, three copies of the PS3 version of THP8 and three two copies of the THDJ, the Wii version. They're all up for sale, at $20 each shipped first class w/DC, paid with Paypal. I'd prefer to limit it to one copy per person, to make sure as many people get in on it as possible. Also, I was taxed on the pre-rebate price, on each copy, so keep that in mind with the pricing.

I may be able to get more copies tomorrow, depending on my schedule to get over to Costco tomorrow.

As it stands, they'll be on a first-come, first-serve basis, in order of PM's. If interested, please PM.

EDIT: Up to date with pending outs as of 9:22PM CT, 05/09/07. All the 360 copies are gone.

I would really, really like a 360 version.

My nephew loves the demo, it's all he plays on my 360.

If anyone can get me a copy, It would be much appreciated.

I have two copies of the Wii version of Downhill Jam available.

Things I'm currently looking for:
:360: TH Project 8
:360: World Series of Poker 2007
:ds: Meteos: Disney Magic
:ds: Puzzle Quest
Paypal ($20 seems the going rate, but I'd prefer a trade)

Still hoping someone has it.
I don't know why I'm even asking, but if anyone could do the 360 or Wii version for $15 shipped, please PM me. :)
I don't mean to be a jerk, but considering the fact that tax is applied to the pre-rebate price (which is 45-55 bucks I believe), asking someone to ship the game for 15 dollars is asking them to take a financial loss on it. Now there are many generous CAG's on here, but few are THAT generous. You might want to up the ante a little bit.

I think it's a YMMV thing that the tax is applied to the original amount. Some people are getting it for cheaper.

Definitely willing to add a bit extra and add trade if that's not the case, though.

Still have three copies of the PS3 version of THP8 (two are currently pending out). They're all up for sale, at $20 each shipped first class w/DC, paid with Paypal. Shipment is done in a box with bubble wrap or packing peanuts, not some cheap bubble mailer.

Have some 360, PS3 and wii versions left...
$21 shipped FC with DC in bubble for one, $40 shipped same way for 2...
PP funded...
get'm today before postal rates increase Monday...

I still have two PS3 and one 360 copy left (I may keep though).....I probably won't be able to ship until Monday, so there will be the new rates. Not sure how much packages go up.

I sold my copies for $15 shipped and didn't take a loss (even taxed pre-rebate price). I broke even, even including the cost of the padded envelopes.

Okay, so like I was in Costco today and I remembered reading about Tony Hawk's latest as a bargain bin clearance item. I brought up the display box out of curiosity. The price tag read "53.99" and the register displayed "-45.99" or something like that. Notice the negative sign. Anyway the clerk told me that the price of the game was $45.99 = but that's how much is taken off the original price, right? Oh - and how do you know if they're even in stock - will they take the display boxes away or do you have to go to the secured dungeon to check stock?

Thanks,

JB

Wierd, the instant rebate was supposed to have ended weeks ago. They are marked regular price at my Costco (they only have the PS2 version of course). That would be quite the find if they still have the rebate and you can find a cache of PS3/360/Wii versions... If they have a display box they are *supposed* to have the actual games somewhere else, but many of us learned the hard way that they lose track of that stuff very easily. In most cases, some hoarder would bring up one box and then ask for all they had (this happened at nearly all my local Costco's on the first Saturday of this sale). The employees would then forget to remove the rest of the boxes or they'd "miss some of them" making subsequent customers wait in long lines only to find out they didn't really have the damn game any more :bomb:.
