Things have changed drastically since I started this thread and I've gone from a quality control monitoring job with other duties thrown in to monitoring double the amount plus the work of others. Bascially, I now do the job of three comparing the company now to that of a year ago thanks to layoffs and not hiring to replce people leaving. Plus I generally work 6 days a week and often ten hours with no break. I'd quit, but I have a hunch that our department will be hubbed in another city around July and I might as well hang in for the layoff package. Basically, this means I have zero time for internet and thread managing the way it should be done. My trade list and pm box fall by the wayside and I hardly email or even check my facebook/myspace. I didn't even find time to manage my fantasy football team and will completely forego baseball.

I know IO is busy enough as it is with a couple of threads, but if anyone wants to take over this thread and start a new one, please do so. Of course, I should have all the time in the world to keep it up to date if you want to wait unitl around July.

I got tired of going to TRU for the most recent clearance drops only to find more here on CAG from one of the three threads after I got back from the store. So I've compiled a list from the posts of Starving Gamer, Benboxer, life.exe, cmosfm, Kevzik's pics of lists at his store, the lists I saw at local TRUs and the many posts of awesome CAGs in those threads. I am by no means associated with TRU and I don't have inside information on upcoming drops, but I wanted to post a consolidated list to help other CAGs. As new drops occur Benboxer, Starving Gamer and anyone else is welcome to post new lists here and/or in seperate threads for more attention for the new items and I'll update the OP for total lists. Please keep in mind that some of these games are YMMV on price and as with all ongoing clearances availability is always YMMV as well. Most 9.90, 5.00 and 3.00 games are from the recent drop of a couple weeks ago. Thanks again for everyone's contributions and especially those early lists. I wanted to get this up and running and will do some tidying to the list as necessary. I'm not familiar with every game on the list so feel free to post or pm inconsistencies in titles!

NEW PLEASE READ SEE POST #2 FOR LATEST DROPS
A few things about pricing. All of the last round of drops are 9.90, 5.00, or 3.00. A lot of the 9.90 games were 19.98 before, most of the 5.00 were 9.98 and most of the 3.00 were 5.00. So if you see a game that is 19.98, chances are it may drop to 9.90 next drop which will probably be in a few months. As with any clearance a lot of these games may have been sold out at your store before they were even clearanced and now that the latest drop has been at least a month those games may be hard to find now, too. I do still see several 19.98 some 9.90 and some 5 & 3 games in this area. Don't forget to check the glass case and you can ask if a game is in back as sometimes this is the case.

READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE CHECKING THE LIST
Games in blue are from the latest drop, most of which were on clearance already at higher price points.
Games in green are VERY RARE games from the latest drop that were originally shipped to stores in VERY LIMITED quantities when the game was released and only a very few CAGs have found these.
Games in Yellow are have been widely reported as YMMV as pertains to price point.
Games in Orange are new reports that are awaiting confirmation

Are Stuntman or Spiderman3 for ps3 worth the price? I will pass by later today if so. I'm lucky I have three TRU's I pass on my daily commute :)
 
Spiderman 3 for 360 was like Spiderman 2, but you got to do a couple of more things. I liked it, but others might disagree. If it is under like $9, then I would get it.
 
I went but struck out on Resident Evil 4 Wii. The employee told me they have not had that title in stock for a while. I spotted Geometry Wars DS but did not buy it.
 
just scored zak and wiki for 7.xx. still located with the other wii games and still listed at 19.99 but scans at 7.xx because of the 20%. i really wanted to get re4, but they said it was gone a while ago.
 
Sonic for PS3 didn't drop today. The girl had the list and everything. The last published list here worked on the day it was said to but this one didn't

The games in Schaumburg IL hadn't been put in a bin yet. No sign of Mario vs DK2 and I forgot to look for RE4:Wii (sorry!). I just ran quick on lunch and snagged Beautiful Katamari for 360. Not even a game that was high on my list to play, but I figured $8 was worth it. I could always sell it at GS later.
 
the Lost Planet was the original version and not the new colonies edition. I picked up the last one at the Layton Utah store. Other 7.98 titles they had were Every Extend Extra, Capcom VS SNK card fighters, Stuntman, Geometry Wars, Tomb Raider Legend (PS2), Test Drive Unlimited (PSP), Smakdown VS Raw 2007 (PSP), Juiced 2 (PS3), Beautiful Katamari, and a few other titles (mostly sports).

Yes -- I grabbed the last one in the Parma, OH TRU -- so if you're local don't bother looking for it there.

I saw the full list of drop-downs for that store, but nothing else was of interest to me (it was a mix of drop-downs and clearances, and none of the other clearances stood out enough for me to recall them later to post here).
 
Richmond, VA:
The TRU near Regency had probably a dozen copies of Zack and Wiki.
No Rayman :360: or Nascar 08.
They did have Monster Madness :360:.
The TRU near CTC had Rayman :360:, NBA Live 08 :360: and many copies of Zack and Wiki :wii:.
I was hoping to find Ace Combat Zero :ps2:, Nascar 08 :360: and RE4 :wii: but had no joy at either location.
I did end up getting a 2.4" digital frame for my desk (clearance) @ $20, Rayman :360: for $8 and Virtua Fighter 5 Online :360:. VF5 was $20 online only last week. VF5 wasn't clearance but for $20 in-store I bit because I didn't want our local hoarder to get all the copies when they drop further.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS) is now $9.98. Not sure if it is a new drop or not but I picked up a copy today at that price.

= $7.98 + taxes each

Lost Planet Colonies Edition rang up @ $29.99, so I passed on that.
Resident Evil 4 and Enchanted Arm are OOS @ both TRUs

Also picked up Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles and Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness for next week.
 
Went to my local toys r us today and managed to score a copy of zak and wiki and resident evil 4 for Wii. They did have copys of NBA Live 2008 for 360 but they were ringing up 39.99$. Isn't that supposed to be part of the new drops for 9.98$? Anyway trip wasn't a total loss. Gonna try and hit another store and see if I can get Ace Combat Zero.

The Henrietta, NY Toys R Us had 2 Geometry Wars DS'es, a ton of Zack and Wiki, and 1 Beautiful Katamari (after I took two :) ). No Resident Evil 4's. 360 component and VGA cables were also clearanced for $10.
 
How come these deals aren't available online as well? There's a clearance section on the Toyrus website with a bunch of games at the $9.98 price. If this is supposed to be a universal drop across all stores, than why doesn't it translate to the online site price? Zack & Wiki is still $19.99 online. Would love to pick it up at the $9.98 price because there isn't a Toysrus store around me. The closest one is like 60 miles away. Anybody know why these deals aren't online? Like somebody who works at Toysrus?

There are still five or six VT3 for ps3 at Bay Plaza store in the Bronx. They are hidden behind another game but they are there . :)
 
Add Custom Robo Arena for the DS (9.98) to the list of drops.

I managed to snag a copy of Resident Evil 4, but I wasn't able to find Rune Factory. I guess 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

For VF5, the register jockey called over a manager who adjusted the price to $7.98. She didn't budge on giving me the 20% off on Raw Danger, but I was happy enough with the VF5 score to not argue...
 
What was her reasoning for not giving the 20% off on Raw Danger? The signs say 20% off clearance that ends in a 00 or 98 and $5.00 ends in a 00. There should be no questioning on it on their part. I wouldn't have argued for the $1.00 either if they honored the VF5 but it is still annoying.
 
She mumbled something to the cashier about it only being on games ending in .98 (obviously not correct, according to the signs you mentioned), and that it should automatically deduct the 20%.

I think TRU's system, or at least this store, has an issue with the "game with gift packaging" titles automatically ringing up with the 20%. The Taito Legends 2 with gift packaging I picked up a couple weeks ago didn't ring up with the additional 20%, but the copies of Fantastic Four I grabbed did.

Will probably head back tomorrow to see if I can't find Rune Factory and check again for Duck Amuck. The Geometry Wars I found was with 1-2 other copies on the shelves, still marked full price. Of course, the shelves were a mess.

Couldn't find any PS3 clearance games this round...sux for me. Purchased an animated TF leader class Megatron, though (didn't want to leave empty-handed).

This seems odd. If the games really rang up with a .99 ending, you shouldn't have gotten the 20% off at all.

They had a shit-ton of Zak and Wiki but no Beautiful Katamari or Jeanne D'arc :cry:. Got last RE4 and Lumines but they had plenty of GeoWars.

Well, if it was originally ending with 8 or 0 and got a price bump, then it should still have a clearence status but a new price. Thats what happened with the HP game for the 360, bumped back up ending in .99, but still with a clearence status and thus, 20 % will still automatically have effect.

Thanks for the reply Link927, that must be what happened to SMB:BB and SGCC. In summary, Super Monkey Banana Blitz for the Wii got marked back up to $19.99, but still retained the 20% off clearance status ($15.99 upon checkout).

No luck on finding RE4 or EA PS3. Still have one TRU to check and now I have added Rune Factory to my list. :bomb: Hopefully, I can find RF at the last TRU or I will have to go back to the other TRUs. They are not that far away but the traffic sucks.
 
For anyone who is in my position and doesn't have a Toys 'R' Us within 60 miles I thought I would let you all know that the latest clearance prices are now online as well. I was able to get a copy of Zack & Wiki, although admittidly, some of the sweetness of the deal was takin away because of shipping costs and the additional 20% off doesn't show up in the final price online:shame: so you pay $9.98 plus tax and shipping, but you still save money vs. paying today's gas prices to drive that much distance.

Hurry while the copies of the good games are still in stock because you can bet that there are plenty more people who also don't have a store near them.
 
so i read above that SMBBB jumped back up, and i scanned Bleach yesterday and it was back to 19.99 (it was somewhere around $10 2 weeks ago i believe right?) just thought it was weird
