Official Xbox 360's 1st Birthday Thread

Well Xbox 360, it was a hell of a ride, but in just a couple minutes, you'll be turning 1 year old. Can anyone else think of a console that has had such a diverse lineup of great games, all coming out within the consoles first 365 days of existence? I sure as hell can't.

last year around this time, some illiterate SOB in my science class was bragging about how he got his first the night before and i ignored him cause i didn't care for it. 1 year later, i have it.

and after 1 more year, i'll have to finally pay for live =(

I'm finally getting one with one year of great games to catch up on and I can't wait.

It's been a decent year. I can't say the game lineup has been spectacular, the sports titles have definitely lacked that next-gen feel IMO, but overall I'd say it was a positive year for our little white heater.

And I still have my pre-January 06 360 working as it did out of the box. In fact, it's working better than it used to! The annoying graphics jitter no longer happens!

Dreamcast, it's best days was it's first year. Afterwards, everything went downhill for Sega.

Man it's already been one year of 360, I still remember going to Target, desperately trying to play the kiosk. That and when Starmask shelled out $800 for his :lol:

It's been a great year....lots of innovations with XBOX Live. Who knew the Live Arcade would be so popular.

I thought the sports games were OK. I still play Madden and NCAA 07. NBA 2K7 is great also. Hopefully we get a GOOD baseball game this year too. I did play MLB, but it lacked some features. I wish MS would try baseball again, since 1st party are allowed to do baseball games.
