Looking for any help..... I'm in the UK but my Xbone has been set to US since launch and I buy all my XBL $ from people on here or other sites for cheaper games from US store and never had a problem till today, I got a 4000 point card and when i try to redeem it says i'm in the wrong region but the seller is positive its a US card (having sold the same cards to others without a problem?) I double checked my console and Xbox.com and its 100% set as US!

any ideas?

was hoping to pick up MCC and Lords of the fallen this wknd =/

I really doubt if Gamesharing legit? I mean does xbox allow you do such, or will they ban accounts/consoles?

I know certain people did this on xbox 360 and got banned, while some don't

You can't do it like the guy is offering, but you are certainly allowed to gameshare

No one has been banned for it, and Xbox support will walk you through how to do it on the One

 
You're allowed to do it ONLY with 1 console. The problem comes when you try to be smart a give your account to more people, 'cause you can start a game you bought in any console as long as you are logged in. When you share your personal information with many people, you'll get banned eventually. 

Anyway, sorry if i posted on a wrong section. PM me with the suggested one. Like i said, here's where i find trustful people since some years with a rep system working like a charm. Bless.

That code is for the old MSP system which is region locked. You need to migrate to US region to be able to use it. Or create a new US account.

I had my local account banned a year ago for gamesharing so MS does not permit it unless its in the same household. They do track IP addresses apparently. The ban was for "Marketplace Theft". You might want to call, ask for senior support staff and verify with them.

The going rate around here for both Unity and Black Flag is about $20 total.
