Those 2100 Microsoft Points are most likely region locked.

Microsoft Points are still redeemable now, but they need to match the country (or region) where your account was originally registered. Switching your account region on Xbox.com or Xbox One to add them to a foreign wallet doesn't work (except if it's done between Eurozone countries). US Points will only redeem and convert to USD on US accounts, while EU Points will convert to the local currency (Euro/GBP/etc.) on any EU-based account.

I tried redeeming that code for a week or two. Try logging out then back in on Xbox.com or something else crimson suggested. Those are the only things I didn't try. I contacted customer support and they gave me a BS response of there is currently a problem redeeming codes and once technicians fix it they'd email me. I know there wasn't an error with redeeming codes because a few hours earlier I redeemed 20 $5 codes no problem. When they emailed me that it was fixed it still didn't work and they didn't respond. I read a few people saying if you get a good rep or keep contacting them they'll send you a new code. I don't know if they'd care enough to check codes with previous requests, I just told them a friend gave me the code.
