WARNING: Halo Reach DLC & MW3 Founder Codes
Please be careful when buying Reach DLC as MS Customer Support
confirmed earlier that they will be invalidating the codes soon since Bungie
is no longer involved with the Halo franchise. This also will apply to Gamerpic
codes that came with the H3 Console. Some Noble Helmet & Legendary Reach
codes have already stopped working and there is no fix for it. This is also why
many sellers are dumping these on Ebay for 6 bucks lately. I just wanted to give
you guys a heads up on this.

Another dead code is the MW3 FOUNDER. This needs you to have Premium Elite
which has been discontinued and people like me who bought Premium Elite before
it was discontinued are not able to use Founder codes. Activision is not responding
to any support requests about this problem so beware.

@MannieTheDragon Feel free to contact 343 Industries, Microsoft Support & Activision
should you need to verify anything. I was merely offering fellow CAG's a "Heads- Up" based
on my recent problems with both Halo Reach helmets, LE DLC & a MW3 Founder code.
The Reach codes tested fine on my Dash but the DLC would not download.
As for MW3 Founder, the redemption site does not accept any codes and has been
down for over a month.

Link to an official statement of this, please. I've never heard of anything even remotely similar to this happening just because a studio's involvement with a franchise ended. Also never heard of "some codes" selectively no longer working either. Either all of them work, or all of them don't. abut just to be on the safe side, I double checked mine. They work fine. So I'm gonna go ahead and call shenangins on this unless you can prove otherwise.
