FYI, for :xb1: GwG, the game is only free if you maintain your Gold status. If you go back to Silver you can no longer play the game unless you purchase it or redeem a download code or go back to Gold (trials don't count).

you're thinking of Playstation Plus. Xbox Gold members can play any free games they acquired, even if they reverted to silver.

Not on the Xbox One, you have to have Gold in order to play them, you can revert to Silve/Free, then re-sub to Gold and play them again, but you CAN NOT play them if you're not Gold on the ONE

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people act like they know what they're talking about but have no clue whatsoever and are completely uninformed

I must have missed that change/announcement. I've had the Xbox One since shortly after launch and was still playing XB1 Gold games on my lapsed account. I was wrong.

Please try to be less of a prick.

Not sure what this Destiny Red Bull promo is, but I haven't seen the cans in my area yet. When I do I'll gladly sell the codes for $1 PayPal. I drink Red Bull like it's my job, so I'll have plenty to go around.
