I bought 1 year of EA from shopto.net last night and got the code for EA access instantly, then redeemed it on xbox.com/redeemcode and it converted instantly to 1 year of ultimate game pass

Took the gamble and apparently the EA conversion does NOT work if you already have a previous Ultimate conversion.

So if anyone needs an EA Play code I have one available for $20 PayPal.

Update, finally got it to work! Persistence paid off Redeemed the code online vs on the console if that matters.

I also can confirm that I only got 4 months as an existing member. But like you said still not a bad deal if you can find the EA Play codes cheap enough.
