I was at a Target in Springfield Mall - Springfield, VA earlier this evening and saw the Official Xbox360 HD/AV cables on clearance for $27.99. I'm not sure if this is a Target wide clearance so we'll need some folks to keep an eye out for this elsewhere.

As far as I know it is, because the Target in Meriden, CT had them recently, although they had already been marked down to $9.98. It will just depend on how long they have been on clearance for. Our electronics has already been reset, and those cables were replaced by a generic for I believe $30.

Is there a reason to get these, other than if you lose the original cables?[/QUOTE]

Someone might have a core system and might want component cables. They might also only want to pay 10 bucks for them.

yes... if one has 2 tvs and wants to avoid moving the tv around to remove the cables every time they want to move their 360

If these cables were still $40, I'd rather another Premium, than $40 component cables. XD

I didn't nkow the component cables didn't come in the core package.
I've found the xbox relatively difficult to move, and I keep hearing things move around when I do (hoepfully just the disk inside). Luckily I just plug the wires into the front of my tv whenever I use it.

I don't have a 360, but are these cables specifically made for 360s and they have special connectors? Or will they work for any device( ie dvd ) and any tv that has component inputs?
