Oh hey, Gamestop has been pretty good to me this weekend.

I come home for the weekend and find a package sitting in my room. Sorry for the crappy pics, they're from my phone's camera.

WTF is it?

Oh... my... god! But I bet there's no manual.

Woot!:bouncy:

I ordered this along with DDS when they showed up in stock for a whole weekend but were ultimately back ordered. It's complete but sadly it's the non-OST version (oddly though, the disc itself says 'disc 1').

Not really a deal I guess though because it was still $51.xx after 25% off coupon, taxes and shipping. Nice to have a copy to play though.

Oh, and also got a complete game only (meaning no pad or oversized box) DDR Mario Mix for $35.xx.:D

you can get the manual from atlus just tell them you bought it from gamestop and didnt come with the manual. ask if they can sell you the ost as well. the manual should be $6 bux total.

Congrats.

I thought about buying a copy, but ended up getting King of Fighters 2002/2003, which was also in stock during that time. It was my first experience with ordering from the site. Not only did I get no manual and case, but they only sent me the 2003 disc.

If you email Atlus you can get the OST (and inserts that say "Limited Edition" on them.) Then find a cheap ass game with a 2-disc case (ZoE) and you're set.

Damn, thanks man!:D

I emailed Atlus for the same game (nocturne) manual last week, and they said they no longer sell the manuals or send them out at this time. But they're thinking of doing it again.

If someone has better luck than me, let me know.

I bought a Nocturne case/manual/soundtrack for $13 from Atlus at the beginning of December. If they stopped selling them, then that's a recent change or maybe they're out of stock.

did you buy them through the site or did you email someone? If it was the latter, if you have the reps name you talked to, let me know and I'll email them instead.

you have to email their support. but since someone mentioned they cant provide them atm, then i'd wait a bit.

...:whistle2:s
To everyone telling the Vinny how to get a manual, read the OP a little slower.

It came with a manual.
;)
I cannot identify that game.
It's Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne.

Damn, I guess my cell's camera really does suck. Missing the manual was pretty bad and now some can't even make out what game it is.

That's why you don't buy used game from gamestop if you care about complete game. Hell don't even buy anything from gamestop unless it's a pre-order with bonus.

I bought the Untold Legend: Dark Kingdom PS3 "NEW" from gamestop, but the game came opened and the case is already wear off with the stickers.

Now, like I said, I don't buy anything from gamestop/ebgames ever again. I recently pre-order Devil May Cry 4 with art books, and Age of Conan with bonus. Only because of the bonus they're offering. Anything else, I go to other place to buy.

Why didn't anyone notice the SKU sticker slapped onto the manual?

Good luck getting the EB Games stickers off the front case. I have no idea wtf the glue they used is made out of for those stickers. They're nearly impossible to remove. o_O

Yep, had a couple used games like that. That copy has to be one before the EB/GS merger, because EB only did that before GS took over(when they were sticker crazy, as evidence shows in the pic).

Not as bad as some of the ones I've had. I've had copies of Gunvalkyrie & Dead to Rights(both Xbox) have SKU stickers on the disc for some reason, even though they were complete.

Don't worry guys... I'm an expert at removing even the worst stickers.;)

Still waiting to hear back from Atlus about the Soundtrack and a case.
I always use WD-40 to remove sticker/sticker residue from everything.
I just use good old Goo Gone and rubbing alcohol (and q-tips). Never used WD-40.. wanted to but since it only comes in spray form (AFAIK), I really don't to risk it.

They make it in a pen form now. Works pretty good.

A pen? Holy crap, I have to check it out then. That would probably be a lot less messy than a bottle of Goo Gone.

I got a response from Atlus, they said they would see what they can do about it (if anything).

WD-40 No-Mess Pen it's about $3-4 IIRC. Once mine runs out I plan on seeing if I can somehow refill it (they aren't supposed to be refillable but I thought I'd try pulling out the tip.)
