EDITED THE POST CAUSE OF ALL OF THE CUSSING I WAS DOING


lets start back in feb..

My vita system was starting to act up so i called sony up and they go your system is good until MARCH 25 2013 so if it finally goes out you can send it in.. You can also pay 39.99 and we can extend that warranty to 2015 for you..

So around the 18 i end my credit card info and it goes though

On march 20 i get something saying they need proof where i got the system from
so on march 20 i sent the info back to them
on March 22 i get an email saying i have purchased the 2 year warranty


we i call them up to set up a time to get the thing fixxed and they go we cancelled your warranty cause you never sent out proof..... so i go what emails did you sent to me


THEY GO THE ONLY EMAILS THEY SENT TO ME WAS

MARCH 20 ASKING FOR PROOF
APRIL 10 SAYING MY WARRANTY WAS CANCELLED

i told them i never got an april 10 email and your telling me that those are the only 2 emails you ever sent on this subject. the manager goes yes


I GO well i find that funny cause i got an email here on MARCH 22 saying i have a 2 year warranty on my system... this shuts the dude up and goes i have to call someone... on hold for an hour and they go please allow us some time to look into this...

SO i call them back and the )(*#)$*)#$*)#*$# goes O MY MISTAKE WE DID SEND YOU AN EMAIL ON

i go you said you said you only sent out two on the 20 and 10th... he gives me this bullshit about missing the 20th and say your plan is still cancelled and hangs up on me,,.....

well i just went over to my credit card company and they said i should have no problems with disputing this charge (even though it was over a year ago) and since i have the emails saying my system was covered for 2 years)


there that is better then all of the cussing i was doing when i first wrote this.. I was so fucking pissed.

I go i sent you an email with PROOF on march 20 and you say you never got it.....

dont you think your company should send out emails 3 or 5 days later letting your customers know you never got their emails and they are running out of time and need to resend it..


The manager goes..... NO There is no reason we need to do that... but we will fix your system for 129.99


This company had plenty of time to send an email saying WE NEVER GOT THE INFO WE REQUESTED...

not once did this company reach out and tell me they never got the info instead they wait 10 days later and cancell the item.


i go dont you think if i got your SO CALLED EMAIL ON APRIL 10 i would of called you up bitching like im doing now why the hell would i wait 30 day and then cause the shitstorm

manager does DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont know but we dont have to reach out to our customers and let them know we did not get their info....
 
I think the real lesson here is stop buying handheld systems. Do you still ride the bus to school or something?

not really talking to you (mostly to myself) i was posting this trying to show how sony is not even following its own rules... their workers just treat their customers like shit...

credit card said i should be covered since they double the warranty so i have until MARCH 2014 if the system completely goes out im covered

sony just pissed me off tonight

so i called back a 3rd time to talk to someone else and ask them dates they went into notes

MARCH 20 i get a request

March 21 they put in the notes the item i sent them DID NOT MEET THEIR DEMANDS


so i go so you got something and it did not meet the request the worker goes yes....I go i find that funny cause i just got done talking to the higher ups and they said you never got anything.... they go please hold...

comes back 5 mins later and goes

O yea my mistake we never got any emails from you but says right in notes The Warranty was void NOT FOR NO PROOF it was declined for the item was not what they requested



whatever already filed with the bbb and credit card company

I've never been screwed over by sony. In fact they went out of their way to help me track down warranty info on my psp a couple years ago so I could get it fixed. I sometimes wonder how someone like slidecage even interacts in real life, let alone with support on things. You'd think he'd realize that he's a joke.

like i said call them up and ask them if they send you info saying they still need your info ..they dont they just wait and then cancel your plan
