Okami $29.99 ship free at amazon

Target has it pretty low, too. Not sure of the exact quote, but I think it's less than $29.99. Well, on clearance I mean, so, again, another YMMV thing since it's probably out of stock places.

I'm holding out for the Wii version.
 
Thanks OP, I've been looking for Okami. I'm not going to open it until I see what the wii version is like. If it's better, I can always resell this one.
 
IMO, this is one game that you really don't need to wait for a drop in price to buy. Don't get me wrong, I'm a CAG, through and through, but I paid $39.99 for this game and I don't regret it at all. Too bad it wasn't enough to save Clover Studios...
 
There is a local video rental store close to my home that is selling a copy for $6.99. I was tempted to buy it, but I already have it.
 
Damn, I've been wanting this game...$30...~$12 more than at CC (including tax), but I have a snowball's chance in hell finding it there. :\

given this game is impossible to find anywhere, i'll bite :)

i doubt this is a reprint -- if anything, it's probably leftover stock capcom is letting loose to stores or that amazon secured from an ailing retailer
 
Hmm..... guess I'm in for one. It's getting pretty decent resale value on ebay considering how old it is. I could always play it and see if I want to keep it, otherwise I could get full value back on ebay. :razz:

Well, the game is suppose to be stellar, and with all the ruckus and awards the game has received I'm inclined to believe it. Besides, I love the screenshots. :D

Also, it's one of the few PS2 games I want that I don't have yet. I'm not willing to risk not getting a copy of Okami just to save a few bucks this time around. It's cool if others do, but I've waited too long for a semi-decent deal on this game.

And if the price does drop more on Amazon, I can always harass customer service for a few dollars back. ^_^

Maybe it's just your area, but mine still has tons of new copies of it. And of course, each Gamestop here has a few used ones in stock as well.

before the CC clearance it was going over $40 for a new copy.
 
Thanks OP since I cannot find it at CC. It is a good game, abit easy and I don't like PS2-to-Wii port so I will get this.

You're lucky -- I can't really go anywhere so I'm happy Amazon has it. After my law school finals, I'm hoping to just sit back and enjoy a little gaming :)

That, and finding a summer job :)
