... what happened to my request thread in the "Request of Get Advice on a Video Game Deal"? It's gone whereas it was there yesterday. I'm certain I broke no rules in posting it, and the person I was going to communicate to for the trade was there. Now, he probably can't find me.

All I was looking for was a cheat device for the PS2 that works on PS1 games. I was looking for ones that worked on SoTN specifically. And this guy said he'd look through his pile after work today. I dunno if he remembers my nick or not, but now I can't trade with him.

So, what went wrong? I don't remember doing anything wrong. And forgive me for not PMing a mod about this because I dunno the mod's names.
 
Sorry to hear about that. you can try PMing CheapyD or maybe Wombat. you'll have to cross your fingers that they'll reply to you b/c they seem to be really busy. I PM'ed CheapyD over a week ago about a part of the site that is broken but never heard back.
 
It could be because you were looking for a cheat device, which, if you were looking to buy/sell could have violated the rules (no modchips, hacks, etc.). I can't say for sure though.

CheapyD has not been responding to PMs for a while now, I don't know what's up.

My guess is it might've been because you were trying to conduct trade business in the "Request of Get Advice on a Video Game Deal" forum?

FAIL .. but that nothing new with you huh krakrabbit .. hehe .. a cheat device is not the same as a mod chip that circumvents security protocols on software or hardware

That is can be the very case .. you may have to re check the rules when it comes to posting at certain forums .. Im pretty sure you can repost what you ask for in its proper forum .. ask the forum mods not CheapyD or Wombat about forum posting issues .. in fact .. dont bother them unless there is a real issue with the website .. which CheapyD have reply back to my concerns with small text sizes on the reformatted website

Pretty sure " io "is an mod .. also "the lidless eye" could be another one

as for why they delete it, maybe you didnt place down a marker stating "Mods, plz move this thread to the correct forum if its in the wrong place" .. the forum is pretty cool to check out and post .. rules are pretty simple .. and they wont ban you for just posting in the wrong forum but pretty sure if you didnt leave a msg to the mods they will simply delete the forum posting and nothing more .. so post again .. dont grief if its not called for .. and read the rules .. and have fun with this awesome community

I know that, but like people don't make mistakes. What he was trying to deal with could well be mistaken with an actual hacking device. Its not like I was saying "THIS IS WHY IT WAS DELETED".:roll:

P.S. If you still want to do business, just create a thread in the Trading section and I am sure you will find somebody at some point. The request a deal area is where you ask to find a specific item, and I do now think there is a solid possibility that because the thread went from "where to buy" to dealing with another CAG, it was deleted.
