I just got back from my local CC in Canton, OH. Here, at least, they had just put games into a bin and they're all $4.99.

There were a few sports games for each system, but I couldn't remember the years. I wasn't exactly looking for Xbox or GC, but those are what I remember. I'll add more if I think of them. This a great deal, check your CC, I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but I hope so.

After looking over the list, I've found 3 games that I want:

I'll be heading out tommorrow, hopefully my local Circuit City is running the deal. I'd really like to get Disgaea as well as some of those other games :D
 
Damn! I hope the Circuit City by me still has games left on Monday, I'll be out all day tomorrow. Damn it if I miss out on this!

I knew that CC had a copy of that, but I couldn't find it anymore...

Still, I got Voodoo Vince, Chaos Legion, Bloody Roar 4, and Indiana Jones, so I made out fine. I'm gonna check some other CCs tomorrow.
 
i'm going to try and have willpower. not walk a mile to the nearest circuitcity and wait til i can get there on tuesday to check.

I just picked up... 17 games in total. I picked up 11 in Joliet, came back and looked online and found the UPDATED LIST so I ended up driving (as fast as possible) to the Bolingbrook Circuit City to try my luck once again.

I picked up 6 titles there before they closed, including.. gasp... Disgaea! The last one I might add

Wow, I go to work and come back 5 hours later and see this thread on page 19, incredible! I need to pick up Disgea, Rez, Frequency, Ikaruga, and something else.

It doesn't seem like all of your CC's were prepared for this sale. The employees at my sale were putting games into the bin as I was looking at the games, but they were still putting them in when I left, so I need to go tomorrow to see what I missed. Even the games had $4.99 stickers on them.

Thanks to those of you that kept the list updated.
 
Did anyone get an extra copy of Guilty Gear X2 or Marvel vs. Capcom 2 that they are willing to sell/trade. I got the following games but I really only want to trade for one of those two games for now - Resident Evil Dead Aim, Bloody Roar 4, Okage Shadow King, Vexx, Spyhunter 2, P.N.03, Bomberman Generations. Thanks :)

Any South Jersey CAGs check out the CC in East Gate yet? I was at Connecticut all day today so I hope I can get there tomorrow and score VJ or Rez.

Geez. I work at a Circuit City, in Middletown NY, and i dont even know which games are on tis sale. i can tell you that as of 7/3/04 this is going on. For like the last hour of work everyone was running around checking game prices. Insanity.

As in, you saw it for 5 bucks, or you bought it for 5 bucks.

Can someone explain to me "Syberia" because I had it price checked and it came up at $19.99. Should I have the barcode on the game itself scanned or what? I seemed to get a $19.99 price from "Hunter: The Redeemer" when I went to the checkout as well.
 
Again did anyone try Mario Kart DD and Animal Crossing with mem card?

I'm sure people have, and I'm also sure they aren't 4.99. Sorry.

San Diego CAGs - Here's what I found at the Rosecrans and Clairmonte locations. BTW - saw MANY folks with lists :) People had baskets full of games and some looked determined to find every last game that was $5. Don't know how many were CAGs, but one guy mentioned Gaming-Age. Anyway, here's my total haul for the day between 3 locations (with the location prefacing each game with the first letter of the street). There were other games on the list at these locations, but I only bought what was decent in my mind.

S: Disgaea
S: Bloody Roar 4
R: DOA: Extreme Volleyball (my wife is 'thrilled' with this one :) last copy
R: Grabbed by the Ghoulies (last copy)
R: Voodoo Vince (friend worked on it so I had too)
R: Viewtiful Joe (last copy)
R: Freaky Flyers (again, friend worked on it)
C: War of the Monsters (last copy)
C: Super Monkey Ball Jr. GBA (maybe more)

Total ~45 and tax. :)

Ok, now here's what I saw left, but given the furor, who knows what there is now
R: 1 Voodoo Vince
R: MegaMan X7 3 copies
S,R,C: Lots of Spyhunter 2 XBX and PS2
S: Rygar, still 6+ copies
S: Roadkill, still 6+ copies
S,R,C: Still copies of Futurama XBX and PS2
S,R,C: Few copies of Legaia 2

No locations had MvsC, CvsSNK, GGX/X2 or Disgaea left (obviously). The Clairmonte and Rosecrans locations do have a bin with actual $5 titles listed (I found WofM in it).

And to all the people with lists, cell phones, parents doing your dirty work, people calling CC asking for game Xs price (poor salesman fielded lots of those while I was there) and the multiple baskets brimming with games, I say, DAMN! People did not waste time with this deal. 5pm I picked my first games up, went home, decided to go now knowing this was getting around fast, and between 7-8pm saw scores of gamers leeching CC of these games. hahahahaha.

It was so bad by 8pm, I didn't bother going to the last CC location within a short distance of me. I'm content with what I got (what a lie :)

I got "Syberia" from the original topic so I have not verified it myself...the same can be said for Maximo. When I had it scanned it came up @ $19.99, but this was the GH version so maybe there is a difference.
 
Can anyone confirm Sword of Mana? Im sure the person that listed it was dead wrong though... I mean... how could That possibly be 5 freaking dollars.....

despite the fact that I already went to two circuit cities and bought 17 games... after reading this entire thread... I have another.....

8 games on my *MUST FIND NOW* list.

11 am... tomorrow. Be there or miss out on the best gaming deal of the century!

Both CC's that I left....the second right before closing I might add, had plenty of things left. But after tomorrow, Im sure you people are going to be screwed
