I just got back from my local CC in Canton, OH. Here, at least, they had just put games into a bin and they're all $4.99.

There were a few sports games for each system, but I couldn't remember the years. I wasn't exactly looking for Xbox or GC, but those are what I remember. I'll add more if I think of them. This a great deal, check your CC, I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but I hope so.

DaPhatty Edit - I've unstickied this thread since the list at the front of the page was outdated. The current list is posted here.

Please continue the discussions there.

Oh, ok. . One a side note I pick up rez at family video in VERY nice condition(complete) for 9.95, FV doesn't put stickers on there games like BB,etc..the girl even buffed up the disk for me in one of those expensive game cleaners/resurfers.
picked up the following from 2 trips at Sacramento CC's

Megaman X7
Dark Cloud 2
Legai 2
Blackstone
Dino Crisis 3
Dino Stalker

btw there were other cheapssgamers the same time I went they had a whole list in their mid 20, early 30 ish this guy bought around 30 games. This one was nice enough to let 2 other guys check out the list.
I'm in Sacramento too, I hit Florin, Arden, Citrus Heights and Roseville, they are pretty much all cleared out, and definately no Disgaea or Viewtiful Joe:(
MODs - any chance we could merge some threads here?? we seem f=to have 3 or 4 CC clearance threads going at once here....

...just a thought...
cleaned it up a little. I think that the two threads are ok though since this is a major deal and it is nice to have quick access to a list

What did you get and which CC did you go to? I'm from toledo also..
If there's another Toledo CC let me know. I went to the one near Franklin Park mall.

The only gem I found was Disgaea. There are no more Rez's there. I can garauntee you that. I picked up the last two for $25 each when we had that last blowout sale.
Did you only get one disegea? if you have any more let me know!

Im so surprised that Kirbys Air Ride wasnt 5. It seems perfect for this deal -

Anyway .. What about Fallout : Brotherhood of Steel?

I haven't seen anyone mention that one yet.

And it's another game that seems perfect now that I think about it
I'm going to San Diego tomorrow, so if I have time, I'm going to find a Circuit City and see if they have any games left, and then on Monday, I'll go to the other Circuit City near where I live hoping to find something.
I'd save your time and skip the locations I went to (check my posts in this thread a few pages back). They were buzzing with people so decent titles are most likely gone. The Grossmont location is very popular which is why I didn't bother going at all. I'd be interested to hear if you are going to hit up the northern locations (Encinitas, Escondido, etc), and what you find, if anything. Best of luck!

Agreed and organic here are some more games to keep the wife at bay. ;-P

In your GC list, you listed MOH: Frontline twice. See below.

Mario Party 4
Medal of Honor Frontline
Megaman Network Transmission
MLB Slugfest 2003
MOH: Frontline

Oh, has anybody checked the price of MOH: Infiltraitor (GBA) and Duke Nukem (GBA)? If not, I'll try to tomorrow. And was Splinter Cell (GC) that price? I thought I read it was, but not sure. I wanted to price match it if so.

I think I'm going near Carlsbad. Is there a Circuit City near that area?
js131(the toledo guy who get rez at family vid.),

what games does Family Video sell, all of them?
I got it at the one on woodville rd. ( East side) and I was looking for games(hard to find games) to check out for my ps2/HD loader, I saw rez and had the rent sitcker 2.50/1 nights, 3.50/2 nights etc.. and also on it had an orange sticker that said buy it 9.95, so when I took it up to rent it, I asked the girl(good looking), about the buy it sticker and if it ment that one store copy and she said yes, so I bought it. And the I asked her if they sell their games often she said no. :(

I'm not trying to steal anybody's thunder here...just trying to make it easier for everyone to see what is (was) available instead of asking over and over again if xxx is ringing up @ $4.99.

I'm more than willing to pass the torch to anyone who wants to continue updating this...I'm finding it difficult to type with an ice pack on my shoulder anyway. :D

I've got a question. You guys say that Circuit City opens tomorrow at 11 am. But on the website it says that my local one opens at 10 am. So does the store open at regular hours on Sunday (tomorrow), or is it 1 hour later. Or does my store just open one hour earlier or what? Someone help me out. Thanks.

Green-Bull - thanks I'll fix it with the next update.

Sarang01 - yeah, a bummer about Eternal Darkness....it rang up @ $19.96 by me.

Only two I go to are Alexis Road, and Secor Road ones.

Secor one is near 7-11

and the Alexis Road one is near JJ's towing.

Yeah I really don't get Nintendo's thing about it. They WON'T declare it "Player's Choice" but they won't clearance it out either, I mean Nintendo won't let any place do this. scratches head.

I think I'm going near Carlsbad. Is there a Circuit City near that area?
From CircuitCity.com with Carlsbads Zip (92009). These are the 3 closest.
Escondido Store #449
1138 West Valley Parkway
Escondido, CA 92025
(760) 738-7400

Encinitas Store #3329
333 North El Camino Real
Encinitas, CA 92024
(760) 632-0050

Vista Store #4301
1715 Hacienda Drive
Vista, CA 92081
(760) 631-8440

If you're willing to drive farther, check their site with the zip I mentioned above.
I was told CC hours will be 10am-7pm tomorrow for what its worth.
Where were you told that? Check CC.com, it comes up that their hours on Sundays are 11-7. Every other day of the week they open at 10

DAMN, I was gone all day because of work, and I come home to this. I cant believe all these games are this cheap. Sucks too, there was a circuit city right by my work, but I didnt know abou the deal. Now I have to drive all the way back first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks OP.
Too bad Cheapy D isnt here :( He createsd CAG and all. hope he has a happy honey moon and weeding in all.

(Edit: Thanks to the OP)
To paraphrase the old saying about alimony: It's the screwing he gets for the screwing he got.

Pro Race driver rand up at 9.97 at my circuit city. I picked up ESPN hockey and black and bruised. May go back tommorrow for more games.

Orland Park, IL....but that is taken with a grain of salt. The cashier has only been there a month. Doesn't matter anyway...my store had jack$h!t except for some PS2 games.

It was insane. I went back to CC (the one from which I had purchased PSO I&II GC earlier), armed with the list. I started filling up my basket, and the clerk (same one as earlier) continued trying to sell me memory cards and accessories, as he had tried earlier. I told him "no, just games, but I'll be getting a lot of them..." I told him that everything in my basket would ring up $4.99, and how I knew. After finishing with basket #1, the rest of the floor staff were gathered around trying to find out what was happening. I counted 13, but I may have missed one or two, including at least 2 managers. Most of them started trying to find games for themselves (I had already snagged the one copy of Disgaea, but I tried to leave at least one copy of anything that had more than one on the shelf, including giving up one of the DOA:XBV that was already in my basket. They made a copy of my list, and one even shook my hand and thanked me profusely. So, I may have ruined Nashville CCs for CAG, or at least the Hickory Hollow CC.

I missed a bunch of GBA games that were there, but had not been posted at the time that I left for the store. I came close to testing Sword of Mana, too, dangit. I'll need to go back tomorrow morning to see if I can snag it.

It's still a wicked game at $19.96. I was only getting it scanned because it was in CC's "bargain bin" and I know some friends who are looking for a copy.

My store opens at 10:00 am - Modesto, CA. If you locate your store and click the map and details link, it will show what your particular store hours are. Sundays vary from store to store..

Of all the days not to check this site. . . I'm so pissed at myself right not it isn't funny.

I'm running up to my store when it opens, but considering it's in the middle of the biggest shopping area in Charlotte I don't plan on having any success at all.

Holy mother of Jesus son of Mary OMGWTFBBQ. This is amazing. I can't believe that I am at work when both this and the BB sale occur. Wish me luck tomorrow, I'll try to snag anything left that you guys said you wanted. Has anyone been to the Arlington, TX CC near I-20? That is the one I'm going to. Any info would be awesome. Over and out.

I am most certainly getting to CC as soon as they open, whenever it is. I spotted at least 7 games I'd get, this is making me wish I still had my XBox and GCN.

*cries*

What are the rare games on the list that I should go and pick up? This is for all systems, and they better be worth at least $15. Thanks.

Someone should call CheapyD and send him the news. That way, he can go around to all the CC's and kick the store manager's asses for trying to stop us. You can never stop a CAG.

I didn't have a list with me so I just put everything that remotely interested me into the basket and have the clerk scan everything. In the end, I came out with 20 titles and the store cleaned out. Those with multiple copies are still left there, of course. Aside from all of the titles mention already, best new deal is NGC RE2.

All I can say is I hate wholesellers that clear out all the games. I went to the Lynnwood and Everett WA CC and there were people there with lists just clearing out the games. I hate that! I don't mind people buying lots of games, but there is no reason to clear out everything. Buy one of each and move on. Save some!

I was able to pick up:

Wrestlemania (GC)
Fatal Frame (Xbox)
Dino Crisis (Xbox)
RE CV (GC)
Parappa (PS2)

There were copies of Dark Cloud 2, DM2, Frequency and a few others left at the Everett location. Obviously no Disgaea. For all you lucky people to get one, please don't sell it. Play it. Great game. For all you other people that want someone to sell it to you for under $25, good luck. You know if that even cheapy EB Games gives $25 credit for it, it is tough for someone to sell it to you for under $15 shipped.

Well, I'm gonna crash for the night. I doubt I'll be able to sleep with the number five on my mind. I hope I can persuade parents to drive me to CC.

rabbitt

The problem is FINDING the games.. the CCs near me all have such small selections.. its like they think, "The game's a month old, time to stop stocking it". I was at CC twice today with the partial lists we had this afternoon.. looking at the longer list, 75-90% of that wasn't even at the store.

I spent a little over $100 but look at the goldmine I got in return. Not the greatest games, but I saved so much!

Xbox:
ESPN Hockey
Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer
BloodRayne
Aggressive Inline
State of Emergency
Grabbed By the Ghoulies
Burnout 2
Red Faction 2

GC:
Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure
Freekstyle
RE: Code Veronica
UFC Throwdown
Wrestlemania XIX
P.N.03
Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
Dragon's Lair 3D (is this game good?)
Disney's Party (for the kids)
Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin the Rules

I wanted:
DOA: Beach Volleyball
Viewtiful Joe (who doesn't?)
Mario Party 4
Panzer Dragon
Ikaruga
Metal Gear 2: Substance
Dino Crisis 3

Anyone from KY, specifically Louisville? I plan to go to the one on Outer Loop come morning, but if any of you cleaned it out already, I won't bother.

Same here, I had to go to work all day and now I'm kinda pissed that my local CC is probably out of all the good games. Tomorrow's July 4th so I'll have to wait til Monday.
