I just got back from my local CC in Canton, OH. Here, at least, they had just put games into a bin and they're all $4.99.

There were a few sports games for each system, but I couldn't remember the years. I wasn't exactly looking for Xbox or GC, but those are what I remember. I'll add more if I think of them. This a great deal, check your CC, I'm not sure if this is nationwide, but I hope so.

my haul from july 4th. note that MLF2 is not part of this deal, it was $10.

I hit up six stores in south florida. most everything was gone except at the wellington store which is where I found CvSNK2, Rygar, ICO and Grandia. There were also copies of GGX that I didn't buy because I already own the game.
 
Ok I went to two circuit city's today, and Im kicking myself in the ass, because If I had just went to the second one then I would have scored like all the games on my list, but no this jackass had beaten me to the punch and had like 3 big stacks of video games and took the last copies of the ones I was really looking for, I still scored 7 games from this deal, but o well. I have high hopes with this possible BB deal, so Im not all to mad.
 
There's no official limit. Maybe when it comes out in the July 11th ad, there will be a limit, but as of right now, there is no limit. Of course, each store manager, depending on their attitude, can put a limit on there for whatever reason.
 
Well, heading to a 3rd CC store today to check to see if they have anything left at all. I seriously doubt there'll be anything left, but I'm banking on people having stayed home yesterday because it was the 4th. At both CCs in Vegas I went to there was only ONE guy who had a list, and there were a ton of $4.99 games still on the racks.
 
I think all the CCs in Manhattan are cleared out now, by myself and others.

The "official" list should really be updated... I don't feel like combing through 18 pages to see if someone else has reported this, but I discovered the following were included:

I'm just as anxious as you. Playing RSC2 till 8, take a shower, eat breakfast, play some more RSC2 and then off to both CCs in Tulsa. I'm hoping time will pass very quickly. I've gotten ten games already...but that's not enough. heh

Damn, 10 games already, good job. I'm honestly not interested in buying a lot of games. Maybe four or five games I've been wanting to play for a while.

Oh BTW, what is RSC2? I'm terrible with acronyms.
 
Rallisport Challenge 2. It sucks, because I picked that up Sat with the PM on the Target ad. I WAS AT CC THE FIRST DAY OF THE SALE....but had NO idea about it. I swear, I'd have sooo many more games right now! The shelf seemed a lot more "full" Sat. than it yesterday.

I don't see these on the official list but my CC in Kingsport, TN had basically every 1+ year old sports game (non-football) in the $4.99 bin, including:

PS2/XBOX:
MVP Baseball 2003
World Series Baseball 2K3
FIFA 2003
NBA Live 2003
NHL 2003 (EA)
as well as the respective 2002 versions where available

These were in addition to the other sports games already on the list. I picked us WSB2K3 so that is the only one I would "officially" confirm
 
Nah, not in mine anyway. Just go to the register with all the games and have them ring them up and put all the non-$4.99 ones in a pile. People at my CCs are pretty decent about it.

I found MR3 at 3 different CC stores and both rang up for $19.99. I suppose YMMV on this title.

I'm with you there. I have 3 CC's within 30 minutes of me, I've been to all 3 just for this. I've never even been to one of them before, but for $5 games, I had to fight not to go, and eventually gave in. I only got about 8 games, but now I have to find the time to play them.

On another note, some kid came with his dad and had a list. Now you'd think a 12 year old would buy games to play, but he was getting more than a fair share, and his dad was all for "selling on ebay." He wasn't a CAG, I asked. Almost kicked him in the nuts, he deserved it.

I ran to two of them so far, the next nearest to me is like 40 miles away, so that's definitely not worth it. I'm tempted to go back to mine now and see if they still have Lunar Legend or Tactics Ogre, which I didn't know were $5 when I was there yesterday.

If you can find them, almost all of them are (99%). If you're not sure, have an employee scan them for you. I tried I-ninja and Sword of Mana which was taken off the list but got denied, but it doesn't hurt.

All the games I have checked that were multi platform were all ringing up at $4.99 on all systems.
 
I just got back from the CC on Staten Island, and picked up

Boktai (GBA)

Mojo, Rally Fusion, World Series Baseball, XGRA, and Pro Race Driver (all xbox)

I didn't find anything I really wanted though, such as Crazy Taxi 3, Burnout 2, Jet Grind Radio (GBA) and F Zero (GBA)

There were a TON of other $5 games there that I left. The ones that are still there were:

Mega Man x7

And I didn't even check out the Xbox section! My CC is a goldmine, I tell ya!
 
I went by my local store and didn't find much, but they usually don't have a very good selection anyway, so I wasn't too surprised. I got their last copy of Crazy Taxi 3, though. They had some others from the list but nothing I was interested in and nothing rare. However, that store is closing soon to make way for a new one nearby, so I wonder if it'll have a big new stock of games for its opening. I'll have to check as soon as it opens.

I checked out the one here this morning and they had all the $4.99 stuff in a bin. Nothing worth buying at all though; I guess the place had already been cleaned out. Mreh.

Man, that really sucks. But at least there are a lot of people here willing to sell their extras with minimum profit. You should check out the Trading Forum and see what you might be able to buy.

So is mine I went in late thinking I wouldnt find ay thing, but I also got two viewtiful joes and two disgaea's. No one was even there!
 
I called them this morning asking for 2 titles and the clerk at my store (in KY)informed me of the 4.99 situation. He said that they wil get a offical list tommorow or wed. And then they will pull the games for the sale and to get what i can now, nice guy:)
So it looks like im making a trip to this store. :p

So I hit up the same CC again this morning just to shake that feeling that I forgot something. It was almost picked clean, I picked up Dark Cloud 2 and Star Wars Clone wars though. But talking about it with the cashier he said what happened was yesterday barely anyone bought single titles, 4 or 5 people rolled up with 25-40 games each. I thought it was pretty funny though since apparently the stack of Dark Cloud 2's hadn't been touched plus there was still a copy of Chaos Legion sitting there. So guess they weren't very thorough. So guess this ends my CC clearance experience since the other stores in the area either pulled the games or got picked clean.
 
I'm so tempted to go back today.. or check the other surrounding stores.. but I mean, I've gotten like 25 games this past week.. ah hell what's another 10 or 15 gonna hurt..

I can confirm this. I checked 2 CCs, both had MR3 for $19.99.
 
I have no luck whatsoever. I go to the Airport Highway CC, and they have nothing I want.

I go to the Monroe St. CC, and when i asked if they had any games in stock that was on my list, the guy didn't even work in that department, so he went to get the guy who worked in games. That same guy comes back and says that I couldn't buy any games that would ring up at 5 dollars, b/c the list wasn't supposed to be out already, and that the sale was going to happen on 7/11. He didn't even tell me if they had the games I wanted in stock.

Sold my copy of Disgaea to a local game trade shop, got enough money that I went back to CC and picked up:

All $5 apiece.
