it had a short print run, (as EA grabbed the marvel rights so Capcom couldn't add anything the game) and its by far the best 2D fighter ever made. you should pick it up for 14 you could probably get about 25-30 for it here even if its in rental condition

You won't be disappointed. One of the best gba games :)
 
Hurray!! Another EBGames morning update thread!!! But Damn it, I missed Dragon Warrior 1 and 2 again and missed 3 the other day. Aaargh. Every single time.

I commend dafoomie for his updating of the main page of the thread, and would hope that anyone else who updates the first post in dafoomie's absence continue to list the price and title as he has always done.

It's a fantastic game. I'm about to start my second playthrough to unlock the Director's Cut ending.

If you can get it at your local EB, definitely get on it.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 = overrated

I've only played a little bit of this game, but I can assure you that while the game is pretty wild and fun, is far from the best 2D fighter ever. I like the Vs series, but I'd choose any other Vs game over this one. Really, the only thing this one has over the others is a huge roster. Okay, I'm done.

Heh, really?

XvsSF - Everybody has at least 1 infinite, most people have more than 3 (and they're all easy to do).

MSHvsSF - You pick Wolverine, and you win

MvsC - Red Venom wins. Wolverine and Chun Li are effective enough too.

MvsC2 - Top tier of about 10 or so characters, each for different reasons, but every one of them as effective of the last. Top Tier constantly switching around as new strategies are found.

MvsC2 may seem shallow to the untrained eye, but this couldn't be farther from the truth.

But to each his own.

I never said anything about the cheapness. For the most part I played the Vs series for fun, I suck too much to actually compete. Anyway, I mostly don't like the feel of the game, which is a variety of little things I probably can't explain well. My main gripe is people calling it the best fighting game out there. It's good, but I wouldn't call it the best, not by a longshot, not with the best KOFs, Street Fighters, Samurai Shodowns, and Fatal Furies out there.

Anyway, that's enough derailing for now. So, it's been awhile since the last classic bogo, hope another comes soon...

Yeah, its actually a great card game IMO except for some cheating coin tosses.

Yes, an excellent representation of the great Pokemon TCG, before it got crappy.
 
Wasn't their a save problame in like 1/4 of the P: TCGs? thats what the guy at KB told me, I don't remember I was lkie 11 at the time.

I was wondering about that...

I got two copies from eb and they were both defective. Grrr. The one copy I had was badly corroded and won't "boot up" for me, when it finally did, it crashed midgame and I couldn't get it to start again. The second copy I got, just won't start up. I've tried cleaning it with alcohol, but with no success.
