Thanks for the assistance, guys. Good to know goo gone works. Some of my games have torn plastic covers because of my fingernails trying to get the tags off.... couldn't get in to work today (snow) so my chances of getting my check are nil today. Maybe I'll grab it next time.

Hey, Rockhero, didn't you create the search for games. That thing is awesome, though EB hasn't been well stocked of late.

This site rocks!

Since there wasn't much today, and since people have been having bad luck getting the popular games, I thought I'd do some rare but often overlooked games. Here's some for the Genesis, all are R6 or higher (according to Digitpress and a few other sources), don't ask me if they're worth money, or if they're any good.

Junction: $5.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/119529.asp

Alex Kidd and the Enchanted Castle: $5.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/117718.asp

Marvel Land: $3.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/117729.asp

Heavy Nova: $4.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/117771.asp

Championship Bowling: $5.99 (R7)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/117868.asp

Home Alone 2: $4.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/118182.asp

Ecco Jr.: $5.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/118569.asp

Magic School Bus: $5.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/119085.asp

Gaiares: $5.99 (R5/R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/119178.asp

Shadow Blasters: $4.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/119304.asp

Marko: $4.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/214714.asp

Math Blaster: $3.99 (R6)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/214715.asp

And this SNES game is an R7:
Hurricanes: $5.99
so they don't update on weekends?
Nope, and to make matters worse Mondays usually stink as far as updates go. You would think after a weekend without updates they would have major stock to sell.
anyone know how often they have the buy2get1 sale?
Seems like once every two or three months. Either that or Buy 1, Get 1 50% off.

Has anyone actually ordered those GB game cases? I'm very tempted to as I keep a lot of my GB cart only games in a plastic bag. Does anyone think these cases would protect them that much better?

I have these and they are made of pretty hard plastic. If you're worried about dust and dirt, then these will protect about the same. Now if you dropped one or stepped on it, the cases would protect much better than anything a plastic bag would do.

I got the cases as well and these a definitely better than a plastic bag. They will protect your cart from scratches unlike said plastic bag. Also it's nice having 2 in one case, therefore you can just have one thing taking space in your pocket/purse.
I bought the connected GBA cases that you can stack and I hate them. These ones at EBGames, are MUCH better. Those stupid snap ones are all over the place in my bag. They don't connect well and it's hard to find the game you want (they gots DARK colors)
Overall I'd say these cases are well worth picking up. 1 dollar and some odd cents for 8 is definitely worth it. It will keep you games in better condition.

thanks for the advice. I think I will pick these up. Though they are a little more than a dollar and some odd cents. (After shipping they're a whopping $3.01).

Just had some markdowns on the EA stuff. All prices are current in the POS as of today

Goldeneye, Urbz, Lord of the Rings Third Age, and Def Jam NY are all $29.99.

Welcome to last week, and several pages ago.
Today is the last day of the "buy2get1" sale.
Too bad there really wasn't much good in today on-line. The store at the mall and the one not too far from it seemed to be nearly cleaned out of anything good. Oh well :?
B2g1 appears to have been extended one more day. I thought yesterday was the last day.
No yesterday was the last day of trade in 2 games get an extra 10. Buy2Get1 ends today

Damn, I got my Aria of Sorrow today and it seems like a beat up copy/and/or fake. I can play it and everything but it doesn't even allow me to save! Wtf! Hope EB gives me credit.. bleh

So I get up at 6 am CST (my normal wake up) and log into EBgames . . . I start searching for a few games . . . nothing. I went to go have my morning constitutional . . . 10 minutes later, I refresh and see that Eyetoy Play is in stock (game only for $7.99). Cool, I got Eye Groove w/camera for $15 at Target and want the Play disc.

Before I can checkout, the game is plucked from my cart . . . DAMN, I never had this happen before.

Maybe it'll come back . . . and I won't be busy . . .
