Everblue 2 $9.99 before coupons
Everblue 2 is an AWESOME game, IMO. I picked it up for around that price new at TRU during all the clearance madness, and I'll never let it go. If you like exploration, and if you have any interest in the ocean, you'll probably love it. It's got a very laid-back pace, and you can pretty much play as little or as much as you want in a single sitting. There's a ton of stuff to do, though the main objective is to dive in the ocean and salvage different items that have been lost over time. The diving parts are in full 3-D...while the 3-D isn't as fantastic as some games, it more than makes up for that with pure atmosphere. There's no music in the underwater portions of the game...just you, your equipment, the sea creatures, and the sound of your dive tank. It really does a good job of making you feel like you're there, or at least it did for me. The above-water sequences are conducted almost like an adventure game, with a cursor that you maneuver around and talk to people, shop, get the pictures that you've taken underwater developed, etc. All in all, I'd rate it as one of my favorite games for the PS2. Adding to all the niceties is the way the developers worked the save system. Even if you're underwater salvaging stuff, you can surface at nearly any time (assuming you're not deep inside a sunken ship, in which case you have to find a way out first), and save on the beach...so even if you just want to play for 10 minutes to build up some junk to sell to make money, you can do it with no problem.

Heh...now that I look at this post, I see that I've typed a lot. This is just one of those games for me, though...one of the ones that makes owning the PS2 worthwhile. I don't think there's another game like it on any current generation system. I know it had some prequels on the PSOne, but if I'm not mistaken, those weren't released in the U.S. Soooo...in conclusion, if diving, collecting items to combine and sell, photography, and exploring sunken wrecks while looking for treasure sounds good to you, you'll probably want to pick this one up ASAP!

I picked up the last copy Oracle of Seasons for the GBC (sorry if anybody was looking for it). Wasn't it $7.99 a couple of weeks ago though? It was $9.99 today. Maybe I have it confused with Oracle of Ages..

Thanks for the Bombastic cheapy. Anyone know if Dynasty Tactics 2 was any good? At $8.25 after the coupons and all, I'm debating it.
is Dynasty Tactics 2 anything like Dynasty Warrior 2

i was able to get warriors 2 for 4.99
I believe tactics 2 is much more strategic compared to warriors.

Here's something in stock that someone might be interested in:
Ace Combat 5 Bundle

Comes to $82.49 after CAG15/EDGE.

I ordered this around 2 weeks ago and just received it yesterday. Everything came intact except for some suction cups on the bottom of the controller (not a biggie). The box even included the back patch and Ace Combat 5 itself was sealed :) Get it if you're interested!
Missed Gunbird and Powerstone 2. I have got to get a comp at my house to catch these early updates.
I wish I hadn't needed to go out early this morning and could have caught a Power Stone 2. Such an awesome game from back in the day. I wish they would either re-release it or just outright make a sequel to it. It's not 2d (which Capcom seems to have a problem against) so why won't they just make another or at least re-release it.

Wish I could have picked up one of these but I think my EB has one or two for $5.99 or so. Not bad IMO. I think they are in bad condition though if I remember correctly.
I wish you guys would tell what you are posting instead of just a link for those of us at work who are banned off of game sites.
You can't even get the pictures, can you?

Well, look at it this way... If it's something god it'll be sold out by the time you leave work. We're preventing you from developing a broken heart. :p

For those asking, Dynastic Tactics is not like Dynasty Warriors (both good games :D )

Dynasty Tactics is kind of like a Tactics RPG, light on the story - (basic three kingdoms story, with branching storylines and endings depending on what actions you choose). It takes a little more forethought than a normal strategy RPG as the real way to play the game is through carefully crafted multiple unit combos. If you are a Tactics-type RPG nut, or a strategy game net (or a chess nut for that matter) you should get it and spend some time getting the hang of it. Dynasty Tactics 1 is fine to start with IMO as it is very similiar, I have both but have mainly played the first one to date.

Quality game. I was glad to pay $25 for this last year.
are any of those lunar games any good?
Where's RIG when you need him? To answer your question, yes they are awesome.

"silver star story".. was an alright RPG.. i thought the graphics weren't as good as i expected and the gameplay was a little too easy... the reward for leveling up was diminished because the enemies leveled up and you didn't get as strong as the enemie did.. so that was chalenging.. but other than that.. you get to a point to where you played the game just to watch the clips and that isn't good for any game..

Well, after missing out so many times before I finally managed to order a copy of "oracle of seasons". Hopefully it lives up to the hype. Capcom + Zelda = what could go wrong?

i don't know if i would say "its zelda it must be good' but i hope you enjoy the game.. i didn't tihnk zelda was ever an adventure that fit the "small screen" very well.. but ok.. i think i would have suggested that MVC2 that game is the best fighter i had ever played.. ever.

Has anyone ordered a used PS2 network adapter? Did it come with a setup disc? If not, what are you supposed to do to set it up? Thanks guys.

I have ordered the used network adapter from EB and it does come with the setup discs. If you dont get the disc just let somebody on here know. Some of us have a couple extras. I got a couple myself.

Here I am! Almost everyone I know loves Lunar SSSC. It is my favorite game of all time, mainly becuase I love the story, and the characters. If you are anal about graphics, it may turn you off. The game was originally made on the Sega CD, hence, not great graphics. However, the cutscenes are excellent. (Luna's boat song...ahhh :) ) A lot of people also love the second one, which I did as well. There's a certain person on the boards *cough*(erifrevonoiz)*cough* that hates the second one, but I still loved it. The story has tie-ins with the first, becuase it is the same planet; it's just set 1000? years in the future. The visuals are the same, but again, I loved the story. The only thing that disappointed me in the second one was that near the end, the battles become a little repetitive. There were a few too many in the sequal. punqsux is selling a few copies over in his trade thread if you are interested.

id say lunar 2 for 22$ is a great deal complete or not.

i have 2 copies of lunar:SSSC for sale, all 4 discs and the jewel case for $35

sort of off topic but Few month back at a Gameshop I seen ALL 7
Lunar 1 games for the SEGA CD Asking price 1,000 bucks

dude behind the counter said that 2 of them are worth 300+ each (i think disc 5 and 7) Dont ask me why they printed the game 7 times with different front covers

Good one, radjago! Is SNK vs. CAP really complete on that disc?

On a side note, Jago always was my favorite Killer Instinct character. Can't imagine how bad-ass radjago would be ;)

Dammit, I was sitting there in my cart, thinking about it, too. I didn't realize that it's the disc with Cap Vs. SNK 2 on it.
