Dunno how good it is but it has a small cult classic-status for a psone action game. I've been trying to get a copy for awhile.

Rising Zan is pretty fun. It's a bit quirky, as it's a VERY Japanese take on westerns. The main character is part western gunslinger, part samurai. Time hasn't been kind to the graphics, so that, along with the odd cast of characters, can be off-putting.

Rising Zan does NOT deserve it's cult status in any way. The graphics are horribly dated, and the controls are crap. I picked it up a while back because I'd heard about it, but it's pretty bad, not even worth the 3 bucks I paid for it. Only upside is that it's VERY wacky, but as a game it's pretty horrible.

Anyway, anybody know how much Ghost in the Shell for PSX was?

If you like Rising Zan then you're gonna like Samurai Western when it's released here in the US next month. I' played the Japanese version and it was pretty good.

Hrm, I saw a complete Pirates Gold for PC at a yardsale the other day for $2 (along with X-wing vs tiefighter and a few other LucasArts SW shooters). Wish I picked it up now.

really sucks. I got it for 7.50 at blockbuster BUy 1 get 1 50%. you could call it magic lite but what sucks is you need monsters with a little blue box that can block. None else can be blockers. so if someone has some 5000 blue box monsters you might as well say you lost since you will never attack their sheilds

Yeah but that was on one disc, this is just the basic 2005 by itself. I think EB realized people would pick the dual disc over the single one, so they sold this cheaper. Either way 06 isn't that far off.

It doesn't have much to do with sales, just that they packaged it with Top Spin (which also had a drop). Expect the 2 pack to drop to sub-$10 levels much like the other 2.

I'm pretty sure it was Andover, but it might've been North Andover (definately one or the other).

No big regrets for passing it up though, as I found this NES haul a few sales later.

You know, I have the same problem with Space Channel 5. I'm usually pretty decent at rhythm action games, but that one I feel like the timing on it is slightly off or something, because I can never get it quite right.
