MAN glad i got up early so far grabbed

Harvest moon 64 Nintendo 64 on my gift card
and

Brand new Lunar 2 on my credit card
I killed myself for months trying to get a Lunar 2 new, but it seems like they lasted about three seconds (and they probably never had more than one or two in stock at a time). But I finally lucked out -- big time -- and found a factory sealed preowned Lunar 2 at an EB B&M store for $27 a/c. (Who on earth would trade in a factory sealed Lunar 2 for the pittance they give you at EB, I'll never know.)

Only problem is, I don't want to open it. Oh well, I need to play through Lunar 1 before I have to face that dilemma anyway. I beat it on the SegaCD, but the PS1 version adds a lot to the game (new characters, cinemas, etc.).

wow nice grab the ebs around here would of put it up as new if it was sealed never seen a sealed game go as preowned.

everyone must left for the weekend or there wasnt nothing major didnt see many listings today

My sealed Lunar 2 sounds like one of the discs is loose, I might have to open it to check it out. The disc case itself is still sealed.

My sealed Lunar 1 is just fine though.

i think im going back to sleep if there was anything good its long gone by now (its been almost an hour since the update)

all i know is im very glad i got Harvest moon 64 for 16 shipped been loooking for that game for years and never wanted to pay the 40+ they want for it around here.

Just sell it, I'm sure you could make a nice profit on ebay.

Ah, my Lunar 1 is not factory sealed, nor is my Arc the Lad Collection, but I did manage to get both of them pre-played complete (EB B&M again; I have a pretty good one near me). I know I picked Arc up during a "More you buy, more you save deal," so it was something like 30-35% off.

I can't remember the details on Lunar 1; I was just so happy to find it complete, I think I just grabbed it and bought it.

yea probally would ebays been nuts these last couple days for me. Sold a few games i got months back i never opened

custom robo got from eb for 10 thing went for like 38 shipping
fire emeblem got from BB for 10 went for 32 shipped
brigeadine (spell that wrong) got it for 20 my friend just had to have it and gave me 50 for it (didnt really care for it)

i will probally not cancell and just put it back with my panzer dragoon saga :)

i got arc collection sealed off ebgames for 50 and still sealed. I was lucky to be able to trade a open lunar 2 i got off Gamecrazy to someone here for an Disc only open copy of Arc the lad collection. so that sealed one will remain sealed and i can play the DISC Only one i was able to trade for.

I have all 3 plus the Ghaleon Puppet and Growlanser Deluxe sealed, but that one with the loose disc really pisses me off. Plus I don't have copies of those that I can actually play right now.

I bought Arc the Lad sealed for $35 from a Strawberries, I traded a used Persona 2 for the sealed Lunar 1 (and FF Tactics Advance), and I got Lunar 2 from the EB website a while ago. I'd return it if I had any chance of getting another, but I don't.
A question: Does anyone know if one of these Tetris listings are for the infamous Tengen version?

Doesn't look like it judging by the picture.
What's the big deal about the Tengen version?
One thing, its harder to find than the Nintendo version. Plus I hear some say it's better, but I wouldn't know.

They used to go for more on ebay a few years ago. I used to always try to grab one from an auction but never won any and outside of a few of them, they were always hitting $30+ just for the cart.

I don't think it's rare (more like uncommon), rather the story behind it is what makes many people think it's rare (the whole cease and desist order from Nintendo + recalling all copies to be destroyed).

your joking right??? I remember back in the early 90s late 80s people were getting up to 500 bucks for them. If they fell to 30 bucks That would really suck.

they're really not that rare. they are just wanted. estimates place around 100,000 were sold before the recall. tengen tetris was on the market for a couple of months and in that time quite a few were sold.

blah the Tengen Tetris is rare but it sucks in comparison to the Nintendo version which is the second best game ever made only topped by Tetris DX for the GBC. It's only better because it has the ability to save your top scores even after the power is turned off and you can pause a game turn off system and finish it the next time you play.

I ordered Contra: Shattered Soldiers. When I received it I was surprised that the case was in great condition with only one sticker in the back. But when I opened it, the CD and manual was a different case. It was a previous rental game so the CD has one of those covers on the top, and the manual has two huge security stickers.

The game works and all but I just can't stand seeing those stickers. I wanted to exchange it at a local store but they sold their only copy on the same day as I received my copy in the mail.

So how should I go about getting this replaced? Do I lie and say it doesn't work ( I guess I can always just say my PS2 has a DRE w/the game) and ask them to send a prepaid envelope? Last time I returned a game bought from ebgames.com they never mentioned sending prepaid envelope and I had to pay the $2.XX for shipping.

I'd still say that ZTetris for the TI-86 tops both, though of course as a calculator game it never had a commercial release. Biggest benefits when compared to any other versions:
- 0 seconds to start a game
- can save a game to resume later
- battery life measured in MONTHS, rather than hours

Plus it's about the only game that I can consistently go back to year after year and it's just as fun as when I'd first played it.

(I also remember Tetris DX having an absurdly high tolerance for piece sliding: I seem to recall playing on a friend's GBC on a long bus trip back in high school: racked up about 2 million points and was on level 30 for about a half hour or so. Only stopped because we got back and he had to go home)

Try checking different locations to see if thay have a copy to exchange for first. Then if you can't find one get a refund (store credit only I think) on a edge card and re-order it online.

Yeah, the only store that had one was at the Fisherman's Wharf in SF. The website seems to be up to date; on Thursday, the same day I received my copy, it read that they had one. Next day the website didn't list it anymore, but I went anyway and the clerk said he sold their copy on Thursday.

Today I went around all the EB's in SF checking for it and came up empty handed. Hopefully the store won't give me any grief if I ask for a refund.

The day I got my GBC, that was the only game I got. On my first play, 676 lines. Yeah, the tolerance is a little high.

Been looking for Megaman Collection Xbox on EB.com . . . every morning for over a month.

Found it in store for $17.99 (PO complete mint) I used EGM 20% off coupon. So I paid $14.40 rather than $13.30 . . .

I like to work EB: I traded in Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 and Megaman Gamecube (paid $15 with Target raincheck but man, they screwed up the buttons!) got $40 for the 3 during the PSP game deal (returned game for credit).

Anyway, picked up Monkey Ball deluxe Xbox for $30 new but got a $10 voucher (Spring sale). Used the voucher to get MM for $4.40.

So, EB paid me $5 to upgrade my Monkey Ball and MegaMan games to Xbox!!!

knew it probally was mistake listings . Ordered the new sealed Lunar 2 with other games and everthing shipped besides lunar. Called up ebgames and they said that game is on back order and the person cant remember the last time they even seen a Sealed lunar (probally at least 6 months back) O well
Is there any way to get a dreamcast without buying 15 games for it online?
If you're talking about the 15 games for 50 bucks deal, they don't give you a Dreamcast for that.
GAH! $44.99, 3 in stock!

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/226562.asp
Those seem to stay in stock now since the "re-release" happened and a lot of people flooded the ebay market. You can now find it new at some places B&M and online. It'll drive down the price since there is a greater supply and the demand (due to people no longer thinking it is rare or hard to find) is dropping.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/172100.asp - Great fun game from back in the day. I still enjoy mine plus this one is real cheap. Could be used for shipping fodder if nothing else.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/139448.asp - haven't seen this one in a while

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/127012.asp - Strange price and this game is new which is kind of strange after all these years and again, to have it at this price. Never played this one, but maybe somebody could drop a mini review on it or say how it plays like. the only review up on EB gave it a 1 star and it gets a 68% on Gamerankings which means it can't be that bad.
If you're talking about the 15 games for 50 bucks deal, they don't give you a Dreamcast for that.
Yeah, I noticed that later. I was tired. Now does anyone have a link to a dreamcast system on EB.com? An old one maybe?
