I will always have to Yankees Suck, b/c there will never be any reason to take it a way. Oh yea, I forgot, who won the World Series Last year? My memory is blurry
 
both teams suck...they exploit the crappy ass economical system that is employed in MLB...when its gets a salary cap...I'll become a fan again...

I really enjoyed playing this with my wife (PS2 version). Button mashing at its best.

There's no guarantee that they've got old stock sitting...heck, anywhere. If stores stop taking the older games as trade-ins (and a fair number of them have), then the stock they've got left is bound to dwindle.

Eventually, chances are that they'll stop taking the older games entirely, and then they'll vanish from the website for good. At this point, I don't see another real alternative.

Actually, I do own both (I guess I'm a Guantlet fan). The PS2 version is far superior for 3 reasons:

1. Way more levels (and character types). The N64 left out several entire worlds (e.g. the desert/Egyptian level and the evil tree).

2. Like the arcade, powerups are used as you find them in the PS2 version. The N64 version let you keep the powerup and use it when you wanted to, making the game far too easy (even easier than it already was, that is). Also, you could just save them and sell them back at the shop and then buy attributes and level your character up way too fast.

3. Much better graphics (not as important as 1 and 2, but still a factor).

Edit: One advantage the N64 version has is 4-player without a multi-tap, of course. I actually have never played the PS2 version with more than 2 players for that reason (I assume you can?)
 
I just thought of another thing I didn't like about the N64 version:

You could switch character classes at any time (as I remember it) with no penalty.

I just picked up Gauntlet for the GCN about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Such a fun and addictive game.

However, you guys are comparing the PS2 and N64 versions and such.. the PS2 may have a version of Gauntlet Legends, not sure, but the N64 definitely is just Gauntlet Legends. The link to the Cube version (and yeah, there's a PS2 and Xbox version as well) is Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. That's why there's more levels in the PS2 one you guys/gals are talking about. It's like an expanded Gauntlet Legends. I believe it contains most, if not all, of the stuff Legends had plus new items, levels, etc. :)

I broke down and changed it back. Ha, I left up my site one day and my mom saw it and went crazy so I changed it for her. I'm 20 and am in college, but am home for the summer, so it seems like highschool days again. I'll be at college in a week, so who cares, right??

As for the girl, she's the Abercrombie & Fitch cover girl for Fall 2003. They never released her name, so I don't think you will ever see her again. She has posters that go randomly on sale at ebay for around $100.00. Will post if I see one.
 
yes, that;s 2! Gone are the days when several people were vying for the update. I just happen to be up because I spent all night finishing the second half of Phantom Brave.
 
ha, nothing for anyone. I didn't even see the numbers rise. oh well, at least I got Advance Wars DS last night on gamestop.com for 24.99. I'm happy

you got it on backorder didnt you though, hopefully they wont cancell it on you cause my Maki kingdom was just canned last night backordered
 
i got SMT: Nocturne but then changed my mind about it and cancelled the order. so if anyone wants it, it's sure to pop up tomorrow morning. i missed super mario rpg. did anyone get it? anyone get anything else good?

They sent me a confirmation that said nothing about backorder. I think it is implying that it is a new game.

I think the site was (or is) messed up. I got my confirmation and it seems like they are sending me a new copy. Weird, but cool. I'll keep you guys posted on whether or not I get screwed
