...360 isn't wireless? The fuck? Guess I'll need this 50 foot ethernet cable I bought for the Wii after all.
not unless the new ones added it... last I checked you needed to add the $90 wireless adapter if you wanted it.

Why would you buy an ethernet cable for the Wii? The Wii is wireless.

You can buy an adaptor for...$60?

Wow. I didn't know that. Guess it's good I kept the cable after all.

Long story short I didn't understand the concept of wired vs. wireless and the fact that all routers are wireless now.

I'm not buying some adapter when I can connect it via a wire I already have, but that's pretty shitty wireless isn't built in. Boo.
What about Soul Calibur?
SC3 came out on all three systems. PS2 had Heihachi, GCN had Link, and Xbox had Spawn, I think.

That was SC2.

SC3 was PS2 only.

Really?

Huh. I thought the one that came out on all 3 platforms was the latest one. Shows how much I care about that series.

Tekken is really the only fighting game I care about.
I have a $15 3rd party device that makes my 360 wireless.

Soul Calibur 4 is on it's way to both PS3 and 360.
But no Tekken 6 to both?

I know Tekken 5: DR is on the PSN for download, though I'm not sure I'd drop the cash on it, unless it had online play so I could attempt to get better (playing the AI doesn't do jack for increasing skill past a certain point)...

I used to be hardcore about fighting games... not so much anymore now that I'm old and don't have friends over all the time to play against.

Tekken 5: DR is offline, it costs $20. You can buy an online patch for $15 though - making it $35.

Tekken 6 I think is only for the PS3, but maybe it'll get ported since there isn't enough installed base yet.

When I had my PS3, T5DR is what I played the most, besides folding@home and Blu-Rays.
I want a damn PSP so I can play Tekken DR and Gitaroo Man. :[
You're going to need a HDTV to go with that PSP.

Sounds expensive.

Why are you still waiting for the new PSP?

I know. That pisses me off.

Because it'd be stupid to buy the current one when a new one (with a cheaper bundle) is right around the corner?

I don't know about all that.

You can find good deals now.

Trashkan picked up a 1.5FW PSP with 2GB memory stick for $100 last month.

I'm waiting for the suckers to "upgrade" their old PSP, so I can buy off eBay or here for cheap.

The new PSP offers nothing I care about.

I'm tempted to see how the play your PS3 on your PSP thing works out.

I was interested in that too, mostly for folding and the DVR service (if it comes to America).

You can do that on the current PSP though.

Yeah, didn't think it'd be a reason to upgrade... why would you want to watch your PS3 folding on your PSP?

What's your avatar from man, it's creepy.

I wouldn't want to watch the folding on my PSP, but I would be able to start it on my PS3 while I was away from home.
