Older Call of Duty Games Unplayable Online?

I was bored the other night and put on both Modern Warfare 1 and World at War...after I signed into Live and jumped on TDM, I couldn't play either because of these on-screen messages that kept popping up over and over about "Mods" and youtube links.

Is there some file on my Xbox creating these messages or is the online for these just ed because of hackers? I couldn't even see where I was going because they kept popping up over and over!!

I have played COD4 in the last few months and have seen what you are talking about. It's just hackers being dipshits.

It's been like that since January for WaW and even longer for CoD4.

Because I've played with that guy, over and over and over again.

I might be mistaken, and correct me if I'm wrong, but that just means you are running around like a chicken with his head cut off and that's not hacking...?

I guess I'm never getting the 10th Prestige Achievement, then. I know it's 0 points, but I like completing the games.

I guess that also means I won't get the remaining zombie achievements, either...

Yeah there are a ton of hackers in both WaW and COD4 now. Its a real shame because I had a lot of fun with both those games back in their prime.

you might feel like a cheater but i recently got into a lobby for waw sent me right up to tenth prestige for free.. guy was chill found him on Thetechgame.com if you wanna check him out..I dont normally hack my games but i was in the same situation the online was unbareble, and i wanted to get that achievement.

Yeah, this is really, really annoying since I quite enjoy both CoD4 and WaW.

If you play these games online PLEASE report them to the XBL PET team. Activision, Infinity Ward and Treyarch might not care about the hackers, but Xbox Live still permabans them.
