What's up with this being stuck on 1% for a long time, then stopping, saying "Cannot Download Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter Chapter 2 Content"?

I can just about guarantee we'll see a "GRAW Special Edition" that packs in chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 million. Probably around the time R6 Vegas comes out.

Makes me want to get rid of my unopened GRAW and just wait for it.

Might be too rich for me though. I think they could have made more money on this selling it for 800 points. For 800 points, I think most people who have this game would have bought this right away. Once you hit 1200 points, a lot of people are going to strongly consider not getting this.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think they would have made more at 800 (or at least equalled what they are going to make at 1200), plus they would have encouraged a lot more people to still have interest in the game and built up some good fan appreciation.

At 800, I would have bought this tonight. At 1200, it's doubtful. So Ubi better hope that for every 3 people that would have downloaded this at 800, that only 1 of them thinks the same way I do about the 1200 price.
 
Count me as one of the one of three. I barely have time to play as it is. I guess I'll hold off until someone I know really wants to play the new maps. They're hoping to feed off the peer pressure and exclusionary feelings of not downloading the update.
 
Unbelieveable that people are bitching about this.

If you think its too much, don't pay. Its simple.

Personally, I enjoy the GRAW multiplayer enough that I might've been willing to go up to 1600 points for this.
 
I think this is a little pricey but all the content we are getting it is worth it. I will be buying this soon.

I want Street Fighter and Frogger first!
 
I have 2 questions:

1. Will the chapter 2 campaign levels still offer achievements? If so, how much are they worth?

2. If you chose to purchase it and began downloading it but never finish the download, can you still cancel the download and not use your gamerpoints even though you initially chose to purchase it?

Once you confirm the download, your pts are gone.
 
OK I finally got mine to download after 10 hours of work. I started the download for it at 5PM. After all the disconnects and restarts and slow ass download speeds I finally downloaded all 725MB's of it at 3AM.

And this was 10 hours sitting with my 360, I was afraid to go to sleep and leave it, as Brak posted you keep getting messages saying it couldn't download the content and you have to start all the way back over at 0%. In that time though I beat GRAW's campaign mode and I beat hitman again, also a few sessions of Geometry Wars.

LAstly we need to tally up who is getting it and try to get a session going tonight.

18 hours in, it cancelled itself 5 or 6 times, and it's still at 27%.

screw that im not DLing it for a few reasons....

1. PC users probly have the exact same thing, except for free

2. if i were to get an expansion, i would expect twice as much content on a hardcopy available in stores for 20-25 bucks, not 20 bucks (im canadian) for a download that will fill up my HD

3. after taxes i paid 95 bucks for this, i still have tthe reciept it was 81.99 plus 15 percent sales tax.... 94.29, and not this is supposed to cost me 20 so i end up with a game that was $115 bucks

4. after you DL one you know you will be getting the rest of these and how may will there be 4 or 5? that would equal a $160 game, and a full harddrive.

if i should happen accross cheap microsoft points, i would consider, only cuz i love the gameplay.

Cause I got my copy off ebay for $44 USD and after buying the expansion pack the game cost me $59 with the extra content.
 
Well I can say that these Co-Op maps (8 in total - yes, they do play much differently during night/day just ask me, Jimmie, or Brak - we figured that out the hard way) are a lot better than the original 4 that you paid $60 bucks for. A minimum of 6 people per mission should be able to get the job done, but even in some cases we would need about 8 because the maps are just so damn large and ambushes spring up from every side. I'm pretty sure there's no achievements for this (I don't recall us beating a mission 100% though). We have awesome strategies for the first 3 maps (all we had time for) and we were almost able to beat them with just us 3, but we fell short. We need some more people. I know Linkin said he was getting it, and where were you at Ryles?
Bottomline: it's worth the money, it's deep, awesome maps and challenging missions that will take some time to beat. GET THIS.
 
I just DL now I will be on this tonight for damn sure. I had no idea this was out already. I looked for it last night but didn't find it.

If you see me on, in any game, invite me. I want to get through some of these missions.
 
I'm seriously considering going to pick this up again with the B2G1 free coupon I have. If I do, I'll play later tonight.

I didn't want to buy it, but I did :cry: The reason I bought it is because if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to find a game that don't use the new DLC. So it's basically like this, if you want to play the game on Live, you MUST buy it, which kinda sucks.
 
Do some of you guys have trouble joining games/private chats with people on your friend's list sometimes over GRAW? Not just over GRAW, but also over the dashboard just to simply use private chat? A friend of mine and myself cannot join the same games, but if someone else makes the game, it works no problem.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
