Both the apartments I've lived in in my adulthood were hole-free. Especially this one, which is only 3 years old.

I hope for your sake, Lulu, that he isn't abusive towards you. Any expression of violence that intense and uncontrolled makes me worry very much for anyone around it.
He once flicked me. Does that count? It hurt but I'm a wimp.
The most abusive thing he does is point right between my eyes so it gives me a headache.
Just got outta work like 30 mins ago. :/
The fuck? I have -37 dollars in my bank account? The hell is up with that? :[
Looks like a 12 dolla overdraft. Merry Christmas indeed.

Strell, do you need said bras to keep your huge brass balls from dragging on the ground?
Kids don't know 'bout that Mario 2.
Time to teach the youngins about the classics. :D
You might want to. I just discovered I have a coupon for $50 off a purchase of $150 or more. Although my giftcards total $85, I wouldn't mind spending an itty bit of my own money to get this killer deal. I never have the money to shop at Lane Bryant anymore, so I really hope I find some nice things today.
I think bringing the gap another $65 when it's only $15 of your own money is an easy sell.
Five days off from work + working from home the next day = Not going into the office for six days FTW.
Being off since 12/11 with no return to the office until 1/8 (working from home on 1/7) > you. :)
This is but one of their many fabled uses.
Here I was thinking you were using them to sling your brass balls at your enemies to kill them, instead of supporting them from dragging.

How foolish of me to make such assumptions.

I've been off since the 22nd though the 21st was a half day and the 20th I didn't have classes and the 19th was parties where I provided Sing Star for the kids.
So yeah.
The most abusive thing he does is point right between my eyes so it gives me a headache.
I do that to the dog. He knows he's in deep shit when he's getting the finger pointed at him. ^_^
I get to do my exit-interview today.

Woohoo?
The potential for mischief and Youtube videos of epic legend is high.

It's frosty who's the slacker around here.

True, but I'm not about to burn any bridges.

 C'mon, this should come as no surprise after all the other shit my company's pulled.

My first tech job ended like that.

Long story short, I was the FNG, so I had to work the Saturday shift, which meant I was alone in the entire room (which you should read as "Strell took his GBA, a pillow, a blanket, and snacks, and let the answering machine take all the calls all day") for 8 hours.

Dude calls me up and says he has an issue. I'd never heard of it, so I tell him I'll call some of the techs at home and ask them. He agrees. So I get an answer and call him back - turns out the issue resolved itself. He's happy, thanks me, we're all good.

The following Tuesday, he calls back (I'm not there at this time, it's about 11 in the morning and I'm at class). Has another issue. Tech tells him his ish is SOL and he needs to send it in to be repaired.

Dude goes nuts, since this is like the third time he had to return his stuff. So he screams at the tech, demands a supervisor, etc. Ends up faxing in a 6 page grievance letter, in which he specifically implicates me as being rude and unhelpful a few days earlier.

I come in at 2 and my supervisor takes me aside and tells me all of this that had happened, and forces me to sign a sheet that says that I had acknowledged my wrong-doing. I think it's bullshit, but I sign it anyway, despite defending my actions and giving him my side of the story.

He tells me that I can no longer work Saturdays, which meant 7 hours of my required 20 hours a week. I had a heavy semester at the time, so there was no way for me to put in more hours during the week.

Effectively, he fired me, but "not really." So I turned in a 2 weeks notice the next day (Thursday).

Came in on Friday and they told me to go home.

Gosh, if I hadn't hated the place so much, I might have been sad.

Strell, I remember said douchebaggery when you told me about it. Forgot how screwed over you were in that situation.
Oh I forgot on the 18th we declared Movie Day where I used my projector and PS2 to project movies such as Surfs Up and Hoot for the kids.

Hard learning going on there. :D
 C'mon, this should come as no surprise after all the other shit my company's pulled.
No, it doesn't surprise me, though I sort of hoped they won't pull one last pile of crap. :whistle2:s

There were few upsides to the job, so it was little loss.

The first was that once a month, they bought everyone buffalo wings.

The second was that I got a short story or two out of the experience, one culminating with some douchebag client shrieking at me about how "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, IT'S TOYOTATHON!" and how he was willing to drive to the building from 2 hours away to kick my ass. (We sold these locking computerized cabinets to car dealerships, which you need to know or the above isn't near as funny.)

The third was two hot chicks that worked software (I was hardware, naturally) who came and talked to me one Saturday when it was really slow. I wish they had done that sooner, since I was fired shortly after. They were cute. And the software kids had a cool supervisor who let them watch DVDs all day Saturday.
You also might want to pick up that Arcade Unplugged bundle for $7.99. It has Geometry Wars, Texas Hold 'Em and a month of Live and other shite for $7.99.
I had kind of forgotten about that. I just emailed my father and told him he should buy it. His wife is looking to get Bejeweled on Live, and this would be a better value by far.
Effectively, he fired me, but "not really." So I turned in a 2 weeks notice the next day (Thursday).
Wow, what a bad situation.
I had kind of forgotten about that. I just emailed my father and told him he should buy it. His wife is looking to get Bejeweled on Live, and this would be a better value by far.
It'll be the cheapest way to get Bejweled on the 360, by far. Other way would be to get the Astraware pack fro the 360, which includes Bejweled, Zuma, Astropop and another Astraware game. I think it's $30, if I remember right, so the Unplugged Vol. 1 is the much better deal.

I remember Strell posting about that, too. fucked up.

Thing is, next Thursday is still my last day. My boss actually asked me to come into work a few days after my announced last day of work there. That is, of course, if the company allowed it and I was down for it.

"Yeah, uh, I actually have some stuff planned for that day so it's extremely unlikely I'd be able to do that."

I mean, if you're no longer an employee, and they want to have you work, you're an independant contractor and they should pay you accordingly. ;)

I could do that, but I'd rather just be done with the company.

Although it would be fun to demand a higher pay rate.

Toss the idea out there and see what they say. ;)

Haha, I would, but, like I wrote, I'd rather just be done with these fuckers.

Alright, time to head out for the interview.

Peace OTTers.

Good luck with the interview. Find some glitter before you go in there, and make sure to locate the nearest magazine rack. ;)

I can't find any good pictures of her.. but shes got this big ol' booty in the movie.

Totally fuckable.

I'll post a great picture if I ever find one. :bomb:
Yesssh. The 12+1 is $43.99 at Amazon, too. I think that's as cheaps as you'll find it on a regular basis.

$38.99 on Buy.com after GCO :bouncy:

Ok, now I don't have -37 dollars, now I have 17.39.
At least I'm not in any debt now.

Not working today (finally).
Work is brutal right now, so many returns! Stayed till 2:30am last night.

You shoulda seen it yesterday, I was trying to fix up early so I could maybe leave at an ok time, and suddenly this hoard of people come up to me, asking questions at the same time. This is fine, I do it all the time, but all of them had kids and ALL the kids were getting the games I just fixed and messing them up and being loud and basically being the most annoying fucking things ever.
This same thing happened around 2-3 times to me yesterday. :/
That's what I get for being in the Nintendo section.

That thread about the dying bird turned into cats being mauled in car engines reminds me of when I was helping my mom mow the lawn when I was little, and I heard some loud thumping underneath the mower. I told her to turn it off and see what it was, thinking it was rocks, but it turned out to be three of our kittens fucked up to all hell. I guess they were scared of the mower so they hid in the grass.. and it ate 'em all up. :[

Scarred for life. :[

Just got Mario Galaxy and two copies of GHIII from GS. Now I got all the music games on that circle. I can't wait to play Cliffs over Dover.

(selling the additional copy to Brutis, whom some of yall know from live)
