Im all about some cheese,

If you are in at home, fine do whatever...

But if you are in a tourny, play cheesy if thats what is require to win, isn't that the main point for most?

IF certain moves are too cheap, then they get removed in newer revisions which is fine. But until otherwise specified, using cheese to win is smart imo.

I love the fact the when playing in a unwalled arena, Link can beat anyone in just one move. Helps the newbies out and I don't play with Link that much, but if someone talks themselves up it is sometimes fun to put them down in a single move.
 
I find it funny when gamers threaten people when they lose. I find it less funny when it's a 12 year old whose ass you just kicked at Pokemon...not that I've done that....recently.
 
Sheesh, if someone is using the same move over and over again...AND WINNING, then I can't blame the winner. Blame the loser for not being smart enough to see a pattern and changing tactics accordingly. If it's a game that has little or no balance and there's no way around it, well...don't play.

I hate it when people bitch about stuff like this.

"stop throwing"
"why don't you stop doing the same move"
"stop camping"

Those are all legitimate moves.

All of this bitching comes from getting beat - pure and simple. If you win doing those things you don't complain, but if you lose suddenly those things become cheating or cheap. :roll:
 
This is pissing me off. I came on this thread expecting ppl to be bitching about these "cheesers" because I know yall fucking do it when yall're playing online games and probably against friends. Yall disappointed me.
 
Camping is hella annoying though. Exp. in America's Army where games can last for 30 minutes because someone hangs out in a safe place until the other person moves.

With RS3 I made it a habit to play on servers that did not allow camping. It was all skill
 
There is a thin line between sniping in a FPS and being a camper. If you lose, they'll say you were trying to snipe. If you win, you obviously were a camper, since no one ever beats them with thier 1337 skillz.
 
The only thing with sniping is that most games make it too easy ie you run full blast then suddenly stop and get a headshot far away or zoom in and get a headshot while running.

But even though most games poorly implement their rifle weapons you need to suck it up and figure out how to win regardless.

I can remember back in the day when I would play guys in the arcade who would always do the same moves, but I kept playing, getting better and eventually taught them that they need to learn some new moves.

One time I was in some out of the way place where they happened to have a SF2 machine. I don't remember how, but I got to playing against this guy who would play as vega and would only do his off the wall yelling move. He would literally only do that move over and over - he wouldn't attack any other way. It was annoying cause I knew I could beat him, and after a couple games I did.
 
I think the whole "cheese" thing is made up by people that lose all the time, or don't know how to make adjustments. The only games I play online are sports games, and I don't cheese. But I've played people that do. But I feel that there's a counter for every cheap play your opponent does. The thing I hate the most is when you're just kicking someone ass and they quit, that's what needs to have an article done about it.
 
Proffesion CS players in CAL and CPL use the cheapest weapons.

The AWP, 1 shot kill gun. (200+ damage if you get shot in the foot, 400+ for a headshot, max HP is 100)
And the auto shotgun, or n00b cannon.

On a server that bans those guns newbies walk all over the professionals.
