On the next episode of GGT 242 find out who voices Snake in MGSV!

I don't blame ed boon for bringing in MK characters he finally made the MK V DC game he wanted.
This has nothing to do with Link.

False advertisement.
I know that is honestly why I wanted it until I looked it up
They shouldn't have fatalities because they've been billing it as a separate game from Mortal Kombat.

Oh wait...
Exactly. It's just a lame MK wannabe anyway.

Ask Frost if you don't believe me.
I don't think I've read anything in the ultimate universe outside of USM in a year or two. I did read stuff right after ultimatum and lets just say I didn't like most of it.
The stuff right after Ultimatum was terrible (except for Spidey). You'd be better off reading the stuff in the last 2 years or so. The only thing I don't like is the new Ultimate Iron Man. Millar completely ruined the minis by Orson Scott Card.
Finally some games worth buying with nintendo points, no idea what link n launch is but I think the points expire at the end of this month so I might buy it
Games are now up:

Super Mario Bros. 3 (Wii, 150 Coins)
F-Zero X (Wii, 200 Coins)
Link 'n' Launch (3DS, 150 Coins)
Metroid 2: Return of Samus (3DS, 150 Coins)
Points don't expire in June unless you've had them on your account for 2+ years at the end of June. Your platinum/gold status gets reset at the end of June, however, and you get the "prize" of your choice for whatever level you were at. So if you're not at platinum now, there's pretty much no reason to try... save your new points for after July 1st.

You can check when your existing points expire somewhere under my account.

I might actually grab Metroid 2 -- I used to have that for my gameboy way back when. It's a good game!

Here's Link 'n' Launch:
It just be per state then. Texas is charged for online items is probably why not sure frost or you live.
I should tell Nintendo I live in CO with whoknows then. (I'm in NY.)

PSN and Xbox don't charge tax here though.
gah!
Don't worry, I plan to secretly stalk you and downvote all your posts.
I'm all over VLR. Been meaning to play that for a while now.
VLR is pretty damn cool. You on the PSvita or 3DS? Either way I'm glad you liked it, it was an interesting game to work on.
It's kind of cool, I guess, but I never played 999 and it's not really my kind of game either, I think. People who were interested in it seem to rave about it.
If you enjoy puzzle games and can get into the "soapy" opera drama then, you get hooked too.

Yeah, it depends on where you live.

But it looks like Congress is going to pass a bill requiring online retailers that do over a million in business a year to start collecting state income taxes (states would be required to provide software for doing so), so it will be moot for everyone sometime in the future most likely.

I don't really mind personally. Technically we're supposed to be self-reporting/paying sales tax on online purchases anyway when we file our state tax returns, it's just that most people aren't aware of that and don't bother as it's pretty much unenforceable.

Haven't gotten to play it. Was gonna pick it up for 3DS, but now I'll just wait for the Vita drop.

As for this Nintendo business, I totally spaced on using coins for SMRPG. Mostly just wanted to get it ready for the inevitable Wii U upgrade anyway. Only one that's got my eye this around is Metroid.
I knew it! Found it! http://www.siliconera.com/2012/12/1...-classics-twinbee-for-free-off-club-nintendo/
Well, lucky for me they're re-using it, since I didn't have a 3DS back then. ;)

Yeah, there's a lot of "technically" things people don't follow, that being one of them. Most of the reason is because it's just ridiculous to keep track of if you do a number of online purchases.
I was just annoyed because I had expected to get 3 games out of my $20 eShop card. I might still, but I have

Doesn't amazon charge tax for you NYers too?

Already have Deus and Saints but I'll try the other 3 games out from Plus. I'll probably wait until I try 999 before playing VLR but I'll at least "purchase" it so that I can download it whenever that is. A good set of games for free though!
Did we ever get each other added on PSN? If not, send me a FR -- I think I have a few slots open.
I don't think so, I think I tried to add you and your list was full. That was a while back though, not sure if you removed anybody since then or not, I can try again next time I'm on.
Anyone wanna play a game tonight? Darkstalkers or something, maybe?
I'll play Darkstalkers if you hop on that -- let me know later on.
Battle damage. Big Boss approved.
You can say PEACE WAS DESTROYED TODAY.
*puts on glasses*
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Its too bad gamestop banned me from buying shit online, I would have bought that injustice.
$10 is still too much.
I'd rather spend $10 on a pizza, at least I'd get some enjoyment out of it. (Thanks, Hank, for the suggestion!)
Let me know when they're paying people $10 to take a copy.
Its too bad gamestop banned me from buying shit online, I would have bought that injustice.
how you got banned from gamestop online?

Probably in a similar way that I got banned. GUNNM should just open a bunch of new accounts. That's what I did.

I'm curious about why they're making Injustice $10. I wonder if it's because they think everyone will dump it because Scorp was announced and want to sell it before dropping the TiV or if they think they'll be able to move more copies BECAUSE Scorp was announced. Or maybe they're making room for the Ultimate Edition which will have the extra Season Pass characters that aren't announced yet.

most likely the complete edition, just like mortal kombat

Well that was a waste...decided to go back and try to finish Rayman Origins (had quit out of frustration a few months back).

Spent around 2 hours getting through the last level and the last boss level (didn't know I was that close to the end). Was frustrating as hell, and there's really no ending. Googling showed there's another world to reach if you get 200 of the whatever the hell the things are--but I'm only at 150 and apparently that doesn't net anything really different anyway.

Game was a big pile of meh for me as I hate platformers with a lot of fast scrolling areas that take a lot of precision and trial and error BS. Way too much of that in this game with scrolling levels, chase levels etc. where not hitting one jump perfectly gets you off timing and not able to recover and thus starting back at the beginning of that section. I'll stick with slower paced ones like the Mario games when I get an itch to play platfomers.

Need to finish up Super Mario 3D Land--think I'm on Special World 6. Working on getting all three coins in each level before moving on (already got them all in the regular worlds) so I'm done with it when I beat all the special worlds.

On a positive note, I like the PS3 controller a lot more now that I put those Pelican real triggers and analog stick silicon caps on. Just wish all games let you switch buttons around--playing Uncharted 3 and would much rather use the triggers for aiming and shooting than the shoulder buttons--but not options to change that in the game.
