One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't
That was part of the point. There are idiots on both sides.
It's got to be concentrated more on the Apple side, though, just by number of users or lack thereof.
My brother and his computer engineer friends all use macs and boot windows for their work....food for thought.
So they're using very standardized PCs, then. PCs can run OSX, Apples can run Windows. Like I said, they're the same thing anymore.

I think the commercials are like water torture. They also influence mac users to act a certain way. I know at least 3 people that will try to badmouth PCs for no reason(they're apple enthusiasts of course). I don't know why apple enthusiasts are hostile against PC users.

That 1st mac video on the maddox site is funny. I don't mind people making fun of the mac commercials, it's a good way to vent this crap.
Where I work I was working on 20 I-Books today setting permissions and such. They feal so much slower then my old 850 MHZ AMD athlon running 280 megs of RAM. I dont like the OS at all. Its to heavy and just doesnt do anything intereresting. I have never been into photoshop or music programs that the Macs take advantage of.

Also there are no programs like Norton Ghost to make an image of the OS. Thats the wrost when I am working on them.
there are plenty of programs, but you don't need to use a third party one because apple includes netboot which does the same extact thing as norton for free as part of their OS....just because you don't know how to do something on a different system don't presume there is not a way to do it.

Well, I bought Windows Vista Home Premium, and it has NEVER crashed on me, or given me any problems. I can do everything I want on it with ease.

I expected to have lots of issues based on how people talked about it, but I am pretty impressed so far.

I've never had someone try to sell me on a Mac. If they had the software support, I'd consider one. I also really like the PC system where lots and lots of companies build the machines. Vs the Mac system where one company builds the machines. Openness is good.
