Was at my local walmart checking out the mound of games in the bargain bin, found XBOX PH Return to Castlewolfenstein: Tides of War, didn't have a sticker on it and no one around as usual so checked under scanner in toy dept..was surprised to find it was only $4.88 thought that was great price..so, I went back to see if there were any more copies.. found 1 more and I decided to buy both..pretty good deal for Monday..

WTH? What is it with all these Wal-Marts and bargain bins? My local Wal-Marts (all 5 of em) have no such thing as a bin with "mounds" of games, yet everthing is behind a glass wall of death.

Not only does our walmart (and the other three around here) have a bin of bargain games, but also half the pc section is filled with GC, XB, PS2 & GBA games all out in plain sight
you can grab the one you like, read the back walk off to the check outs and no one seems to care, heck the attendants will get out the ones you like from the glass cabinets hand it to ya and say go ahead take it with ya. They're more concerned with checking out the college co'ed's most of the time, and I really don't blame them.. something bout watchin' the college chicks in there tiny-tee's..lol

My Wal-Mart's have the now-famous "Bargain Bin". However, at least here they aren't all that great. All the "Bargain" games are priced at $14.88, and most if not all of them can be had on Ebay "new and sealed" for less...

None of my local Walmarts have such bins or any loose games for shoppers to get their hands on. Everything is behind the "glass wall of death," and because the stores near me are crowded, disorganized and understaffed, I seldom go there at all, much less buy anything.

The local Wal Mart doesn't have those bins but keep the clearanced games on the bottom shelf behind the glass. It would be nice to have a bargain bin but there is already like 5 bargain dvd bins. Congrats on the pickup!

Sounds a LOT like the Wal-Mart by my store. I've pretty much stopped going there in fact since they put DVDs behind the "glass wall of death" as well now. Its pretty pathetic to have to go and ask a Wal-Mart employee to open it up for you got a $9.96 copy of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" doncha think?

Where in the US do you live where there isn't even a "Wally World"? I thought they were everywhere by now. We have 5 or 6 in my city alone. None with a bargain bin though.
