Online Game Time and Cash, Games, and Gaming Supplies for Simple Surveys!

Hey, I'm going to tell you all about this site I've found a while back called GamingLagoon. Here's my referral link for starters and then we'll get down to business. http://www.gaminglagoon.com/?ref=3349

Also, if you sign up under me, I'll put your name and a referral link to you at the end of this post!

Alright, I'll describe what you do on it, and then give you a tutorial on completing your first survey.

GamingLagoon is a site where you are shown many surveys, and get to choose which ones you want to do. These surveys range from 100% Free surveys, which are simple surveys requiring the basics, your e-mail, name, where you live and a range of answers. There are also credit card surveys, which usually have you test out a product, usually you have to pay shipping and handling for it, but give a huge amount of points (Sometimes they pay you 20x what you paid them!). These points are based on U.S. Dollars. One point is worth 1 dollar. Simple. Most 100% free surveys give from 0.1 points to 2 points. On the other end, credit card surveys ask for maybe $1 and pay you $11 dollars.

You may have heard of some people doing credit card surveys and not getting paid in return, that is why you must always follow the directions on the GamingLagoon site and the survey site you are doing. There may be a glitch in the system, but just inform Dietzel on the forums and they'll get it sorted out within a short while.

Tutorial:
I'll walk you through the process of a simple 100% Free offer.
1. Register (Remember to use REAL information, as Dietzel is known to call the number you put down and ask for your information repeated. Some of the surveys are known to send spam to your e-mail, so I'd get a new e-mail or use one that you're comfortable with being spammed on.)
2. Click "Available Offers" on the left.
3. Click "100% Free"
4. Look through a page of offers and click the banner of one that interests you with the content and the points you recieve from it.
5. Remember to look at what the GamingLagoon description of what is asked of you from the survey. Sometimes you don't even have to complete anything past the 2nd page on a 5 page survey, or just entering your e-mail on a survey.
6. Once you have completed your survey, double check the requirements.
7. If you're sure you've completed everything correctly, click "Completed"
8. Wait for an e-mail from GamingLagoon saying you've finished the offer to the requirements. If it says it was denied or not completed correctly, I'd suggest starting the survey over again, and completing the steps again. If you try again and it still doesn't work, I usually just try another one, but asking for help on the forums is alright as long as it's more of a "Please Help Me" sort of thing rather than a "OMG THIS IS SO ANNOYING!" complaint.

From my experiences with the site, it has been very helpful to me, and I actually have enjoyed doing some of the surveys. I'm almost at my 10 points for some Nexon Cash for MapleStory, a MMO I've been playing. Which reminds me...

Have fun with your new games and gaming gear, and remember...

It pays to refer!

I signed up on this a week ago or so.. It's just scary giving out information as I hate junk things. I don't mind e-mail but the idea that someone has my number and might start calling or even mailing something..

Fake info is always a good idea. I didn't at one point, I soon received a phone call from a lady calling about my Nascar club membership. :lol:

Fake info is good if you like your account banned, I'd suggest PrivatePhone instead.

The actual GamingLagoon site does not call you or send you junk mail, but some of the sites you sign up at might send you things. To me mail isn't that bad if it's junk, you just toss it away, but phone calls may get annoying. I haven't had anybody call me or give me junk mail so far, but if it does happen, it won't be a huge deal for me.

If you sign up under a prize website with a fake phone number to begin with, they don't know it's fake. It's not like they have a phone number verifier like they do with CC numbers or addresses.

you should really use prizerebel, its better than gaminglagoon....

works the same way, except you can get ANYTHING you want as a custom prize (doesnt have to be gaming related)

I may check it out later on. GamingLagoon still does have custom prizes, as long as it is from Amazon, I think. It doesn't really need to be anything about gaming, but I think that they want gaming to be the theme for their prizes. Are there lots of Canadian offers? I found that all the offers to be had are US offers, which I cannot do.

im not sure about canadian offers.....but gaminglagoon DOES require all of the custom requests to be gaming related, its one of their rules. but you can order things from places other than amazon

Actually, some will call the # and report to the website that the number was fake, thus a banned account. I still don't suggest fraud to anyone, ever.

Possessed, double check on the Terms if you do choose another website, as alot say "United States only!" .. I'm gonna step away here for a few then I'll check if you haven't by then, and edit this post with the findings.
PrizeRebel = United States only
CashChute = United States?
CashCrate = all
MyFaveFreebies = United States

Yeah Prizerebel does have a few Canadian offers, but not many. There's only about three... GamingLagoon seems a lot better to those in other countries than the US. I'll check every now and then on Prizerebel, but for me GamingLagoon will always be my main place.

Possessed, I know CashCrate has added a bunch of UK offers recently, perhaps you could give them a shot .. other than that though, based on reading the Terms of the above sites, most seem to suggest United States only, which may or may not allow Canadians to participate.

Alright I'll check Cashcrate out. Prize rebel does in fact have a few Canadian offers, but as I said before, only three or so.

yeah I think canadian offers on the websites are ymmv, CashChute has added UK offers, so I'd assume Canadians are also included, but again ymmv until CashChute Matt awesomeness replies for sure.

For GamingLagoon? I haven't really had a problem with offers taking too long or being refused. If they take a long, long time I'd assume that they're going to be refused.
But how long it takes to be approved... usually not very long, but I'm not that used to other sites.

Just remember this when people talk bad about GamingLagoon, when something good happens you'll talk about it to the first person you see, but when something bad happens, you tell everybody.
It makes a lot of sense to me, because if you don't look you only see people complaining, you have to seek people out if you want to hear something good about it.

are you new to gaminglagoon? if you havent been to their support forums, go there and see how bad their support is....

and its not only their support, 90% of the users are having problems with offers being denied.

i asked if you were new, because when you first start on gaminglagoon and have only done a couple pages of offers, you never have problems....but as you keep going and keep on doing offers, more and more offers will get denied for you (even though you have follow all of the rules, done everything you're supposed to do)...

i have come to a point when NONE of my offers are getting approved...ive been using gaminglagoon and other sites for a while now, and in comparison to the other sites, gaminglagoon has the WORST support/staff...

it might seem great to you since they have canadian offers/they ship to canada.....but trust me, and trust most other people here on CAG: Gaminglagoon is Nazi Germany 1942

The reason I asked is as I got bored I figured I'd do a bit and see how it went. I've done.. 21 offers. 11 denied so far. Most the free ones that wanted me to "fill out a survey up to page #" were denied. I'd even do them past the asked page.

So far approved things have been where I actually had to sign up for something or I did a few "pay $1 for a free trial" and then canceled after it was approved.

But hey, I have 29.17 points in about 2-3 days. Can't complain about that.
