Online Gaming Rental Roundup!

does anybody have a customer service phone number for gamefly? i shipped two games out last week and they said they still have not recieved them... and all the 360 games are on short wait.. wuts up with that?

Just a thought about this thread. Very good idea about people posting experiences. I am trying to choose one to give a try and as i read through the posts after awhile you i was getting confused on who was talking about which and then you forget if one got complained about previously. So, with that in mind i was thinking maybe the very first post with all the services could be updated to have a tally of pos. experiences vs. negative experiences. That way, just by a quick glance people could see who has been good or bad. Just a thought.

Anybody have any recent experience with gameznflix (in the past couple of months)? 3 out for $16.99 or 6 out for $249/year sound intriguing...

I've heard mixed reviews and a few horror stories about queues that sit full of short wait / long wait games etc etc.

I am trying them this month, signed up a few days ago so I have my fingers crossed... I live about 3 hours away from a hub but am concerned with their inventory. Gamefly was like 10 day turnaround time for me on the east coast BUT I always got my #1 wants...

Well I live in San Diego and it looks like there's a hub in the LA area, so shipping time shouldn't be an issue... thus, it should be quite easy to determine whether they have their stuff together or not.

Signed up wednesday and queued 2 newer 360 games. One shipped on thursday and I got it on saturday. The other game shipped on friday and I got it on monday. The rest of my queue is full of not yet released games led by LotR that comes out this week. I'm very pleased so far now i've got Gameznflix, Netflix and Blockbuster that all ship from 3 hours of my house! :D

So far i've seen two things that I don't like, one of them being major.... The outside of the shipping envelope (the to you envelope only) clearly in black bold letters says the name of the game inside (PLEASE STEAL ME!) and then the shipping envelope itself is sturdier than the Netflix and Blockbuster mailers but the sticky goo they use to hold everything together partially ripped the fronts of both return envelopes i've gotten so far and I opened them somewhat carefully after seeing what was going on....
