One of the great things about the majority of Nintendo developed games is that they appeal to such a wide variety of gamers. Take Animal Crossing, for instance. While it is suitable for younger and casual gamers thanks to its adorable characters and setting, more than one so-called hardcore gamer has lost plenty of hours trying to pay off the nefarious Tom Nook. However, in spite of this, the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force believes that AC is not a game that should be played by adults.

"There is no reason an adult should have this game," Andy Anderson told ABC News, via GamePolitics. Anderson believes that any adults playing Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii are most likely doing it for the wrong reasons, suggesting that the majority of these adult gamers are actually child predators.

Love to hear about uninformed idiots trying to sound like they know what they are talking about.

The sad part is that a certain segment of the population will see this and take it as gospel and start standing outside Toys R Us watching for men leaving with copies of Animal Crossing and writing down license numbers and making anonymous "tips" to the police.

It's really rather shocking to me that you have people in any position of power can have. I mean, wow, if you own this game, your probably a child predator.

This is just shocking to me.

any time someone who obviously doesnt know shit about games says something about games i tend to ignore it. but thats funny shit because thats like saying nintendo is supporting pedophelia since they advertised this game towards older women. all those dirty lustfull women trying to seduce underaged men with the promise of dinosaur fossils and home furnishings.............the horror...........oh the horror..... that would make for an interesting dateline show.

can you imagine people trading friend codes and as the child predatr enters what they think is an underaged players animal crossing home chris mathews comes out to confront them.

( and no i never played it on the wii ive never played a wii at all but i played the ds version and im sure its pretty much the same)
If the first three letters of your first and last name are the same, you're probably an idiot.
I laughed at the name without reading the article.
It's a funny name like Peter Peterson or Daniel Daniels.
