Well wonder of wonders after searching high & low for a copy of Etrian Odyssey I ended up with 2 copies today. Had a friend who works at Gamestop alert me to them getting a used copy in and I hustled out & snatched it up in perfect conditiononly to get home and later the fiancee rolls in with a brand new copy someone returned to TRU. So while I am not the super awesome yard saler or goodwill shopper like most of you I finally got something good. If it wasn't for my fellow CAGS alerting me to the greatness of this game I would be the kind of slack jawed yokel who returns his copy unopened lol.

Anyway guess this is me getting to brag for once sorry if I sound like a tool ;)

Used copies went as high as $50 about a month or two ago but have cooled since. Used copies still hit the $30+ mark from time to time.

Congrats OP, I definitely know the feeling... trying to find a copy of a game for a long time and somehow ending up with more than one.:lol:
 
this game was barely in stores.. about all the TRUs i visited didnt have them (the ones that did only had a handful of copies and was sold out) and all the kmart and sears didnt carry them. i still know where to find them at least ;) but at retail for $34 or $40..
 
Hey OP, hold on to that sealed beauty, because yes it's tough finding that game. Hell, put it on eBay. I went nuts trying to track down a copy and finally settled for a used one at Gamestop, which also took a lot of tracking. For $17 it was well worth it though.

Now I'm seriously debating whether or not to pick up Hoshigami Remix for $30, since that is next to impossible to find. Got a location that has a bunch brand new.

Hell yeah you should. Don't know how much it is at Gamerush, but $19.99 new (good luck finding one new!!!) at gamestop or $17.99 used (about $17 with tax and edge card).

Another one of the rare Atlus gems.
 
i wonder if the demand will go down with the sequel.


anyone got the sku at gamestop for new and used copy?
