If this is a repost, my apologies. Supposedly going live at midnight Nov. 17th. I don't know which timezone, but it'd be safe to start refreshing before midnight EST.

I found this on SD, and the poster did not explain how he found it. I tried to look for it myself on TRU.com and couldn't find this nor any other bundles.

I also have no idea about shipping.

why is it sometimes when you refresh the page it shows the (add to cart) are we fighting other people or is it just a (glitch)??

ive been wondering the same thing, but have kept my mouth shut to see if i can get it to work...my guess is that they have everything ready, now they are waiting to throw the switch for us to order....whenever that is...
 
Crap, almost had a heart attack. Refreshed the page and my computer stalled and I saw the add to cart button. Before I could move the mouse over to it my computer stopped doing what it was doing and the button vanished. What a tease.
 
This is painful, we don't even know if they have any intention of releasing tonight.
and I'm tired.... I know that if I got sleep now, it'll come up 2 minutes after I leave.


I was looking at the java scipt and it looks like the cart button isn't displayed unless the server returns that the product is in stock. Which is why we temporarily see the add to cart button when we refresh.
 
Just talked to toysrus.com 1800 number they told me it is on the site but, they have not recieved there shipment that is why it is showing unavailable.

Not sure. Thats why someone else should call and verify so were not all sitting around like a bunch of fools for somthing thats not even going to come.
 
damn, just saw the buy now option flicker. Assuming it has to do with the Java or whatever else the site is done in, cuz it happened a couple times, but was never actually a viable option to click.

I found it by search about 15 minutes ago, and now you can't find the page by search. Also, you can click the add to cart button, but it'll just take you to the checkout screen where a message about the item not being available yet will be displayed and you will be returned to that page.

Anyone ever order from sonystyle.com before? Seems you need a sony credit card. IDK if I really wanna sign up for a CC just for one site. If I do, I'll prolly cancel it after I get my system.

unless it has changed very recently, you could still use all regular credit cards on there.

Cool. I assumed you couldn't because it says "payment options" on the page and the only things listed are financing and the Sony card. I guess that's just there for their advertising.

Now the real question: Actually attend lectures today, or internet camp?

man i don't know what to do, should i wait it out and see if I can get one on TRU or SonyStyle.com or I can go to my sony style store. My Sony Style store is pretty low key, in a fancy mall and they said they wouldn't be letting people line up before 7am PST, if somebody tried they'd be escorted out of the mall. Plus I figure they would get at least 100 units. but it would suck if I went there and didn't get one and then came home to find that i also can't get one online.

If you're in a low key area, they won't have 100 units. I just called the store in Kansas City, MO and they are sold out, only had 14 units.

Well I'm in Vegas so it's not a low key area but the store is in the forum shops at caesar's palace and the store itself is pretty low key but in a fairly large market area.

buy now button went up, clicked it , finished checkout, told me item was no longer in stock, after that, I couldnt add it to my cart anymore. basically, i think it came in stock, and went out of stock *very* fast

yeah, i had the same thing happen. it was at the last step in checkout, but got the out of stock screen.
 
What a shitty site. Good sites will deduct items from their stock when you add them to your cart and give you like 2-3 minutes to complete your transaction before they would remove it.

I don't know of any retail site that does that. Half.com does it, but that is different.

Man i was so ready for this...I spent hours in front of my machine afraid to do anything else. I fall asleep for a little bit and it happens right after I fell asleep? Didn't I predict this a few pages back?
