Saw this on Slickdeals

PS3 Slim 160GB Open Box for ~$143 shipped Tech4Less has open box PS3's for $145.79.

Use coupon code mcoup10off for another 10% off (credit to the HTC Flyer thread) bringing the total to $130.94.

Shipping was $11.79 for me for a total of ~$143 shipped.

90 day warranty and includes all accessories.

They also have Refurbs going for $128.49

how is this a good deal? if you want a ps3 just buy one of the bundles like the gamestop one that just went live and sell the games.

i would never buy primary/important open box electronics. you can get the price down to $150sh anyway. earlier this year i bought the black ops bundle + $100 gift card from best buy. then i sold blops for $30 at gamestop.

just do the same w/ one of these bundles.

What would be a better choice open box or refurbs ? Am not talking about the price but the quality of not getting one that doesnt work

Refurb. It's been checked over with a fine tooth comb. The open box hasn't, IIRC.
