As I was ordering Dumbo Blu Ray, I stumbled across this page where you save $8 if you purchase the Lion King and another eligible Disney movie. One of the eligible movies is Dumbo that currently has an $8 coupon. If you order the Non 3d Lion King Blu ray and Dumbo, the total comes out to $41.98. This is great because the non 3d Lion King blu ray was the only Lion King that did not get the $8 coupon. There are also other Blu Rays but I thought this was the best deal.

I'm betting that this is due to the Lion King coupon no longer being valid, so they're offering up a second promotion.

They did the same thing with Bambi and Tangled, once their coupons were no longer valid.

That may be true but I was trying to point out that the Non 3d Lion King Blu Ray did not have an $8 coupon. So with this and the $8 Dumbo Promo, it comes to $16 savings. That also includes the price guarantee.

I was just trying to point out that this is something Amazon has done previously, and it was the same thing with Tangled, with the 3D pack getting the coupon and the bundle pack saving that came after included both the 3D pack and non-3D pack versions.

If you want both Dumbo and the non-3D Lion King, this is the time to jump on both of them on a single order.
Is it possible to cancel my "Dumbo" only order and retain the coupon, then reorder with this deal?

M
I think the only way you can do it is if you switch to the DVD packaging from the BluRay packaging. The coupon works on either one.

i have both in my cart and they're $50, not $40 with an $8 savings. am i missing something?

EDIT: nevermind, i see now that i had to go to the dumbo page and click to add the other $8 coupon to my order. thanks alot!

41 bucks for both with the possibility of both going down as much as 10 dollars each by the time they're released?! I'm so in, then again considering the two movies, I probably would have been in anyways. :p

If I have to return one of the movies, how does the $8 promo work? (not the Dumbo coupon) Amazon has done similar deals like this (there's even still one on now with Cars and Incredibles) , and I was just curious of their policy.

I have a feeling the DMR coupon for The Lion King will be for the 3D version, much like the previous ones in the past have been. I have no interest in the 3D version because I don't have the equipment for it, but I also don't believe in it because this shouldn't be converted to 3D.

Anyways, this could be the best deal for both Dumbo and The Lion King if Amazon manages to match the lowest prices possible, which will probably be Best Buy.

I'm just hoping that they won't release The Lion King on the same week and do a package deal like they did with The Incredibles and Cars.

i am mad the 5 disc 3D one of Beauty and the Beast is not on this deal and did the price go up for this

I just wish Fantasia was on this list... I want the damn thing but can't be bothered to spend $30 on it.

Will probably do Lion King/Dumbo though.

Yes it is. I preordered Dumbo, then cancelled once I saw this deal and had no problem getting both $8 promos applied on the new order. $41.98 total.

I did not have to switch to the DVD packaging.

Thanks. I missed out on the Lion King coupon because I forgot it expired so soon, and this deal is a pretty good substitute.

Nice to see that it wasn't as I thought it would be.

Thank you, I think I'll try. Otherwise I'd have to use my backup account without the prime shipping. ;)

*Edit* I can confirm this works.

Is anyone here a member of the Disney Movie Club?

I wonder how long it will take for Lion King to become the featured title on there, I only have a few months left before I have to cancel or renew
