Origin 60% off PC downloads sale - ME3 $12 BF3 $16 KOA $16

Not quite as good as the free origin games, but there are some pretty decent deals here. Slickdeals had the exact same sale last week.

Could only get the link to work by clicking the link on their site.

Update: This is working with the $20 survey coupon origin are sending out, check your email! You have to have a minimum of $19.99 in your shopping cart. Not all games are working with this but I can confirm that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Mercenaries 2: World in Flames do.

Expires: 10/21/2012
It works with the survey coupon! Just have to make sure the order is $19.99 or more
is a credit card needed?
Got BF3 and MoH Airborne for $0 (since it was exactly $20).
strange I tried adding KoA and Shank 2 which were also exactly $20 but code didn't apply the discount, I had to add more than $20 worth of stuff for it to work

I think it's a glitch in their system. I actually had BF3 and KoA before with the code applied (came out to $12), but deleted KoA and added MoH and then it worked.

Seems like the only thing Origin has changed is making the codes one-time-use.

Worked on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.

Be quick guys, EA are going to catch on pretty quickly.
can you guys like post first 3 digits to make sure its not universal? :D
It's not tried on a different account and didn't work.

Is anyone else waiting for a confirmation email after getting games for $0 with the coupon? Mine seems to be taking ages!
Wants me to verify my account before it installs. This is a known issue apparently.
To fix it change the installation directory in Origin to the default, launch the game, then change it back.

Happened to me, verified, worked fine after. Crysis 1 does the same thing.

Could someone post a link to the survey?
People outside the US can apparently use this link to access the US store: http://store.origin.com/?ipr=ty

Can someone confirm this so I can put it in the first post?
I can verify that it worked for the last code, however as only people from the US would have got the survey email, the new code is US only.

I bought BF3 for $16 through that link, however my order was cancelled and refunded for fraud.

What was the fraud? was it using a us link when you dont live in the u.s or north america or was it the videogamecoupons.org link?

I imagine using the link when I don't live in the states (You need to give a US address to purchase using that link) and my paypal is clearly Australian linked.

so if i am in canda, and use the videogame coupons link without the us link and then use the coupon code i should be ok?

Also got Kingdoms of Amalur and Shank 2 for free after using my code, didn't even have to enter payment information. The confirmation email arrived promptly.

I have a copy of The Darkness 2 Steam Key if someone wants to trade for a coupon.
EDIT: Traded.

Damn wish I saw this earlier. I don't game much on PC outside of Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 right now. Would have grabbed something besides Burnout... could have gotten two games or more. ugh.
should edit thread title, seems to be PC only, I don't game on PC
If it sounds very cheap we should right away think it is a PC protmotion. Besides that coupons website has promotions for Gamestop too and other games so putting PC on the title would make this thread PC only? I don't know :/

Thanks OP!

Thanks!

I just used my coupon on Battlefield 2142 ($6), Battlefield 2 ($8), and Mass Effect ($6). \\:D/

Now I just need a computer that can run them. My laptop struggles with Notepad.

EA just runs that exact sale every week, just for different websites.

Hell, they started a new one today for the survey people.

Is this site legit..? Seems strange a site that's just giving out discounts.

Not sure if you're serious or... what, but Origin is a PC only service. I don't think there's any need for redundancy.

Thanks OP.
I got Dragon Age™: Origins – Awakening, SimCity™ Societies, SimCity™ Societies Destinations and Rail Simulator with the coupon.

Your link doesn't work, you only see the discounts when clicking that link because you already activated the coupon via the site!

Man, I wish I could get in on this. I haven't gotten the survey email, which is odd considering that I have used Origin quite a bit.
doesn't work for Sim 3 deluxe but I got Sim 3 + pets which worked oddly
This threw me off too. I decided to just get vanilla Sims 3 ($12) since I don't really care for pets & got Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit ($8) along with it instead.

I ended up with KOAR and Mercs for free so I am not complaining. Now I just need to convince myself that it is OK to download and use the Origin client.

Bummer it doesn't stack with ME3, ill find something. Never heard of Video Game Coupons before today, but it looks similar to retail me not.

Next thing you know people that used the code find out that you could of used it to be the head of EA. We know how much everyone wants that.

The Head of EA.

This ends up being a really good if you happen to have the code (without, most of the games have been cheaper). Sadly I never got an email to do the original survey, so unless a kinda CAG hooks me up with a code, I won't be able to take advantage of it. (If any one wants to just send me a pm, I'd appreciate it greatly). This seems to go against what EA was saying about how steam devalues games though lol
