I know you can transfer an Xbox Live account from the original system to the 360, but what about those subscription cards? Can you use the older style cards for your Xbox360 Live account? They seem to be on sale often, and there is a chance stores will start clearancing those out.

It works. I bought a 12 month Xbox Live starter kit with PGR2 for 29.99 at Best Buy about a month ago, and was also nervous it might not work. I entered the number into the prepaid card category when I came home with my 360, and now I have 12 months to my account.

Oh well, glad I can use it on 360.

Sounds like false info IMO to try to get you to buy the more expensive version for the 360, or atleast I hope, because I still have one of the 12 month LIVE subscription cards unused from the Dew Points Contest from last year..........

It would suck if it went to waste.................:bomb:

If you plan on going out and buying an old Xbox sub card at normal price, I advise you not to. The new ones for 360 gives you a bonus month, so you get 13 months of XBL. I just picked one of those up myself. No payments until Jan 2007 now :D
