Orignal Playstation 2 cheap at Meijers YMMV

Was at Meijers and saw the Original Playstation 2 for 44.99 or 49.99. Didn't see it on here yet so figured i'd say something. Good luck finding one though can't find any around me.

Kidding me? i wish i could. i only saw the sign and basically every Meijer i checked, although we didnt check down river, is out of em. Target had it for 79.99 when we called also.

We've called basically all places i know of and all original Playstation 2's were sold out. Can't find a single one.

Are they really being sued? Have a link?
 
When I go in to work tomorrow (at Meijer) then I will check to see if the old style did drop in price. I don't know any store around that has the old style in stock but I can check the price and then check the inventory of every Meijer in the U.S. I'll let you know what I find.


Also, my Meijers still has all the Halo2 games locked up, didn't sell a damn copy. I signed for them when they came in and I sure the hell was not getting in trouble for breaking the street date. I'm probably only one of the very few Meijers that actually did not break the street date though.

Its not really a wannabe though ti was 24 hours and larger than Super walmart before super walmart even existed.

They give walmarts in our area a real run for the money.
 
I don't think my Meijer has them anymore, because when I was last there over a week ago, there was no more original PS2 models. If there was and I saw it for that price, I'd buy another one in a second. I want another PS2 for I don't have to take mine back and forth to college all the time.
 
Walmart sucks. Meijers is so much better. We have a Meijers and Walmart across the street from each other. Walmart closes at 10, Meijers is 24 hours. Plus the Walmart store is the trashiest place you'll ever go in. Boo Walmart!

There is a SuperCenter Wal-mart here that closes at midnight. It sucks and the service there is terrible, so I try to steer clear of it
 
I checked and it is on clearance for $49.90 for the original style PS2. However, I only found one location that had them within 50 miles and when I went there they did not actually have them. When I asked why the computer had a balance of 6, they told me they must have been stolen and then refused to help me any longer. So, they are $49.90 if you can find a Meijer with any in stock. Good damn luck.


P.S. And the people that were bitches at that store don't actually reflect the behavior of every Meijer employee. I checked several other stores and they were very polite and helpful.
 
Good luck finding this. I went to Meijer and they do not have any PS2 or PStwos. I'm guessing they clearance them out to early and some employees grabbed them all.
 
Actually, they clearanced them out once the new stores got in the new style PS2. However, I don't know ANY stores that still had the old style in stock when the new one came in. I think the main reason Meijers did this is because they don't want returns of the old style. Instead, if someone shows up with an older one, instead of getting a replacement PS2 in the new style, they would instead be given a gift card for $44.90. Either way, it is a huge YMMV like he said since the whole damn chain has maybe 20 left.
